Imagine yourself on vacation in paradise -Curacao - an island that embodies Caribbean beauty, adventure and relaxation. Our three bedroom and three bathroom home in the Marazul Dive Resort, is perfect for all vacationers, from the adventurous scuba diving and sailing aficionados, to casual swimmers and snorkelers. Breathtaking sea views, clear blue skies, and unforgettable sunsets await you.
The newly renovated and remodeled home is decorated in classic Curaçao style, with many pieces by local furniture artist and entrepreneur of Living Green, Eugene Maduro. Our home offers a well equipped kitchen and two beautiful terraces, perfect for enjoying refreshing island breezes. Three TV sets in two sitting areas and master bedroom provides additional entertainment.

The descent into the sea is within a few steps from our vacation home. The water at the foot of the cliff is clear and calm with opportunities to snorkel and explore underwater life. On most days, you will see a variety of colourful fish, squid and lots turtles.

The property is next door to a diving school where you can rent all equipment necessary for unforgettable diving. For beach hoppers, Marazul is the perfect location: the island’s best beaches are within a few minutes by car.

Marazul boasts a large pool in a serene setting for those who prefer to lounge and suntan as well as two common gazebos. Ours is a gated and safe community of owners and repeat renters.

Four delicious restaurants are within walking distance and even more are a short drive away, as are the shops, restaurants and famed cultural landmarks of Willemstad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The island of Curaçao has something for everyone. In addition to the unparalleled swimming and diving, you can enjoy surfing, windsurfing and every type of sailing imaginable. Rent a car and explore the island’s 30 beaches, rolling hills and wildlife. Colorful iguanas, flamingos and ostriches are everywhere.
The island’s capital city, Willemstad, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its brightly painted 18th century mercantile buildings arrayed along the sea inlet and connected by floating pedestrian bridge that spans St. Anna Bay and links both sides of the town. There, you’ll find an amazing maritime museum, stunning sculpture gardens, the oldest synagogue in the New World, the renowned Chobo Lobo distillery (producer of authentic Blue Curaçao Liqueur), delicious restaurants, art galleries, local and luxury shopping.

Great location and property

First time to the island and really glad we stayed at this well maintained property to avoid the city crowd. We only had 4 people but unit will comfortably sleep six with bathroom for each bedroom. This unit has window screens and air conditioning when needed which is a huge plus. Boris was great to work with and very responsive. Easy access to beaches and great snorkeling just by walking down the just steps to the water. Or sit on one of the 2 decks and take in the view. Small but pleasant community pool with lounge chairs and shaded gazebo another great place to relax. Short walk to 3 restaurants with Cactus Cafe as the favorite. Recommend a visit to Watamula Hole but be forewarned it’s a rough road. Also head south to Tugboat Beach. You won’t be disappointed.

Perfect Place for Us

We LOVED our time here! There were five of us here which was perfect with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The multiple living spaces inside and outside also provided lots of space to spread out and/or all gather in the same space together. Our favorite spot was the balcony where we watched many, many sunsets as a family. The balcony is spacious, has a large floor fan to help circulate air (and chase off mosquitos), is covered by an awning to help cool down the space, and has plenty of seating. And speaing of mosquitos...this home has great screens to let the crosswinds cool down the inside while keeping the bugs out.Swimming in the ocean just steps away from the property was AMAZING! Steps were easy to navigate and the snorkeling was a real treat.This location is the perfect spot for people who like the quiet side of life and beautiful beaches. It was exactly what we were hoping for. Also Boris and Anna are wonderful, responsive hosts!

Great location, great stay

Family of four - mom, dad, two boys (13 and 8). We loved the location of the Marazul compound - just a few minutes from both Westpunt and Playa Lagun, so plenty of good restaurants and beaches nearby. But it's also very quiet, and not too much interaction with the cruise tour groups other than at Playa Piskado after about 10 am. Boris was an excellent host. He was a great source of information in the months leading up to our trip, and was very prompt in his responses. His unit was exactly what we wanted / needed. We want space that we can spread out a bit and feel like home. The boys each having their own room and bathroom was appreciated by all. We are divers and there was adequate space to hang our gear to dry. The unit was clean, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioners worked well, and the fridge kept beer cold. I don't need much else. The unit is at the far end of the property, which means you are very close to the stairs down to the ocean for diving and snorkeling but a little bit away from the pool (this may be a good thing or a bad thing depending on who you are and what you want). One thing to know - I've become accustomed to VRBOs providing soap and shampoo for bathing, even if only enough for a couple days. That was not the case here. There is a decent chance that was stated somewhere in the listing details and I just missed it, so it's not a criticism. Just a thing thing to know.I would 100% stay here again if/when we return.

Peaceful and beautiful spot

We LOVED our stay at Marazul Dive Resort! The home was perfect for our family of four, and we adored being able to jump in the ocean right off the house. Great area — we spent a lot of time at Cas Abou beach, but also loved Playa Lagun and swimming with the sea turtles at Playa Grandi. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we were able to cook at home several nights. We will be back!

Ocean get away

Beautiful area to stay in with plenty to do. We snorkeled at several of the nearby beaches and we could even snorkel right off the property which was amazingly convenient. Perfect views for sunsets. Nearby restaurants and cliff jumping were a bonus! We did a fun catamaran trip over to Klein Curacao as well. The only issue was the insects- tiny ants and mosquitoes, mostly the mosquitoes!! Bring bug spray and don’t be outside at dusk to dawn. Overall loved our stay!!

Catching Up with Old Friends

Perfect resort for a relaxing reunion weekend with old friends. Large, comfortable accommodation, great access to snorkelling both at the resort and the many near-by beaches. Had a great visit to Curacao.

Awesome property -close to beaches, diving and snorkelling.

We were four adults here for 10 days. This property was excellent for snorkelling, scuba diving and it’s proximity to beaches. It’s well equipped, clean and very comfortable. Great place to watch the sunsets. A pool onsite offers a refreshing option to the ocean. The water is the best; drinkable right from the tap. It is a rural property and a car is necessary to get around. Our host, Boris was very responsive and answered any questions quickly. We highly recommend this property.

Short trip to Curacao for diving with my daughters. Marazul was a perfect place. Quite. Nice views. Reasonably well stocked. Communication with the manager was superb. Will definitely stay here again if we make it back to Curacao.

Beautiful

This is our second time staying in Marazul. The house was perfect. It was well equipped. Anytime I contacted Boris, he responded almost immediately. The house was very clean and the AC throughout was wonderful! Very few places have AC throughout, usually only in the bedrooms. I would definitely stay here again if we return to the area. Thank you, Boris for sharing your beautiful home with us!
