"Very pleasant, clean and low stress place to stay while hiking the caminho. A little off the caminho trail but there is a well maintained hike and bike path from the center of Valença that will take you right to Alma Candida. Breakfast is very good too. "

Asked if I could give them my stamped postcards so the postcards could be put in with the regular hotel mail and was told, “not possible, we don’t do that” - and I am fluent in Portuguese. Have been to many countries and this was the first time I was told my stamped postcards couldn’t be included with normal hotel mail."

Desde que llegamos hasta que nos fuimos, todo el personal hizo todo lo posible para que nos sintiéramos como en casa. Empezando por Tino y Chus, pues fue con quienes más trato tuvimos. Nos aconsejaron lugares que visitar, nos dieron buenos consejos y trataron muy bien a nuestros perros Cobi y Sofi. "We loved our stay at Peneda ecofarm. It is well located for walks in the National Park and only an hours drive from Porto's airport. There are several natural river pools to swim in with in a 30 minute drive of the accomodation. Which we were directed to by the owners.
Our room was modern and fresh with a lovely balcony. The air conditioning was great for night time. The breakfast and evening meals were carefully prepared and delicious with fantastic local vino verde.

"Our 3 nights stay here was incredible. The owner is open and friendly, warm and welcoming. The room is immaculate, with attention to detail and a complimentary bottle of Vinho Verde. The pool is well situated, clean and warm in the evening. The breakfast is a fantastic spread of traditional and contemporary foods (their daily cake is to die for!). We look forward to staying with you again in the near future!"

Elegimos la opción de alojamiento y desayuno, aunque la segunda noche también cenamos allí (maravilloso el producto, totalmente personalizado según los gustos y preferencias que nos preguntaron previamente).
