Finished basement with additional two single beds with arcade games and board games for adults and kids. Covered hot tub and fire pit makes this home perfect for relaxing after a long day of skiing, hiking or golfing. Open concept living room and dining for enjoying time with a large group. The house was fantastic; lots of nice touches to make our stay enjoyable - the kitchen had everything we needed, there were plenty of board games, and the arcade game and basketball game were a huge hit with the kids. The house was spacious and our family of 9 had plenty of room to spread out. Everything was nice and clean, with all of the amenities of home. The main living area was beautiful, and the views were lovely with the fall colors. We loved the house and hope to come back again. We found lots to do in Bethel - rode the lift up to the top of Sunday River, explored Grafton Notch State Park, and visited the Maine Mineral Museum.

This was for us the #1 property we have stayed at thru VRBO and we have stayed at over 25 properties in the last few years. Everything was first rate, the house itself, all the amenities and all the little things that the owner provided. We stayed for a month and we did not run out of the nesessities. She also provided a very well stocked kitchen. Communication with the owner was fast and answered any questions we may of had. One small snafu, we never saw a MOOSE!!!!

I was so impressed with everything about this rental. I have never rented a home before, so i took everything but the kitchen sink and i ended up using nothing i brought. Very impressed with how clean and nice it was. Thank you from our family!!

Clean, cozy & comfortable!

We stayed here for a girls trip this past weekend and we were all blown away by the property. Not only was the home super clean, it was stunning as well. Accommodated our group of 10 perfectly and us girls really appreciated the abundance of bathrooms! The property owner was excellent. Very responsive and helpful. We all cannot wait to come back and are already talking about how much we miss the house! Highly recommend!

The perfect ski house!

My friends and I have stayed here for the past 3 years for an annual ski strip to Sunday River. It’s the perfect size to accommodate our group (10 people/5 couples). We love that every bedroom has its own bathroom! The house is super clean and spacious with the comfiest living room couch in the world and a great size kitchen table/breakfast bar. Plenty of parking and only a 10-12 min drive to the restaurants/breweries and the mountain. Jamie’s a wonderful and accommodating host and responds quickly with any questions you may have. We can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic place — look no further

This home is spectacular and almost defies adequate description. Situated on a gorgeous wooded lot and well separated from neighbors, yet close enough to downtown Bethel that we could take a scenic 20-minute walk to the grocery store, (5-minute drive) this far exceeded our expectations. Immaculately maintained, this modern and comfortable home features every convenience, and well-chosen amenities. Our group was comprised of three couples, and we had plenty of space and privacy, along with comfortable beds and our own en-suite bathrooms. The downstairs area would be perfect for kids to have their own territory, including their own bathroom. The kitchen is furnished with most anything you’d need and is stocked with basic condiments — perfect for nights when you’d rather stay in and cook. Jaime, the host, was extremely responsive and accommodating with every question or request. Our group considers this the best rental ever, and loved our too-short time at Mountain Chalet. This is where you should stay — you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful home in the mountains

The house was beautiful and well stocked. The views were amazing. Lots of places near by to explore and to enjoy the fall foliage. Communication with the owners was easy and they were super quick to respond. If you are looking for a house in the mountains to enjoy with your family and friends this house is perfect.

Family Friendly Fun

We had the pleasure of staying at this property during a snow storm and it was magical. We cozied up by the fire place, went sledding in the back yard, made a fire outside and even used the hot tub! We cannot recommend this place enough and hope we can make it back again soon!

Impeccable Location

What a great 10 days during peak week of foliage. Lovely home, amenities abound and location is just out of town, but seems like your isolated in the woods with the serenity and calming sights/sounds of nature. AAA+++ Having a Moose walk right through property was just and added bonus and one we won’t forget soon. Awesome pictures/videos! Jaime was an incredible host and extremely helpful… Thank You Lady! 🤓 Talking about bringing more family next visit!

Great place for a ski trip!

Property was lovely and the host was extremely responsive. We were unlucky with weather as it was extremely hot when we were there and this place does not have A/C. If I could make any suggestions to make it better, it would be A/C (lol), and adding shades or blinds on windows - especially in bedroom and sleeping areas. Some had curtains but others were uncovered totally and the sun would come in a wake us up early. Other than that this place was perfect!

Beautiful, clean home!

Five couples stayed at this beautiful house in Bethel. Right when you walked in the house you could smell how clean it was, and it was so well kept. There were four full bathrooms so it’s perfect for a couples getaway - or for anyone who just wants their own space! The house was about 8 minutes from 2 local breweries, and about 13 or so minutes to Sunday River. It’s a perfect location, and we’re so excited to rent here again in the future! Huge thank you to the host, who was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had leading up to our stay. 5/5 stars!

Great location to ski Sunday River

Well thought out vacation rental, nothing was missing! The decor impeccable! Best beds ever, and NO bunk beds! The house was spectacular- fully stocked, you want for nothing… top notch linens! Extremely clean. Check-in, check out was a breeze. Everything was perfect and we will definitely do it all again! Did I mention, we loved it?

Fantastic family escape

Conveniently located to downtown Bethel and short drive to Mt. Abram and Sunday River. Beautiful home with everything needed for a great vacation. Fun for all. Basement was a good place for the kids to relax away from the adults. Loved the Ms Pacman game! Thank you!

Fantastic home and host!

Just an outstanding home and experience. Everything was exactly as advertised. The layout and amenities were just perfect for our extended family ski vacation. The basement set up was ideal for the teens and the games, TV, and hot tub provided evening entertainment for them while the parents played games at the oversized table. Location was ideal as well, only a few short minutes to Sunday River. Jaime, you were the perfect host, thank you so much for the 5 star experience.

Amazing Mountain Home

House was better than the pictures. Very well maintained and cozy. Nice fire pit area out back near the hot tub. Very cozy seating area on the main floor where we could hang out while cooking dinner. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing get away!

The house was above our expectations! Super cabin chic, updated!! The property was clean, spacious, and relaxing! We were all fighting for the amazing blanket on the couch!! Omg that couch!!( Lol so comfortable!! ) It is close to many restaurants and Hiking trails. We love the fact that each bedroom has its own bathroom and the accommodations were just right! Can’t wait to come back! Felt like home.
