Far from "exceptional" and overpriced for spartan amenities and the condition of the flat. Description emphasized garage parking which was inaccurate. Parking in front is 2 hrs 9-5 M-F, parking in back is tricky with other residents parking in unmarked areas. Pack earplugs and eye mask for regular sirens and street noises on this busy street; vertical blinds do nothing for the street lights. Kitchen minimally supplied, no sugar, salt, oil. One heavily used metal pan for for cooking in the oven, a smaller one was greasy. Pans for cooking on the stove were unsafe/toxic with non-stick coating deeply scratched. No cloth kitchen towels for cleaning up or drying hands or dishes, only paper towels. No rack to dry dishes on. Only bedroom furniture is the beds, two rooms have a tiny table, one room has a standing mirror, so suitcases on floor and nowhere to sit. Only seating is faded furniture in the front room--dirt, crumbs, hair under cushions. Rugs are stained. Walls around table are scuffed with black marks and chipped paint. Door from living area has recent scratch marks from a dog. A few thumb-sized toiletries for 2 people for a week booking, no shelves so personal items on floor. Hair on duvet and bathroom floor. Contacted host re condition, and host offered cleaning, but real issue was lack of amenities. Left 3 days into 7 day stay. Host requires a signif damage deposit or damage waiver fee, which is ridiculous given the condition of the flat.
