That package tour feel
Slightly disappointed with our stay at Maistra Eden. Though only at 20-30% reception desk appeared hurried and slightly disinterested. Rooms are on the small side with quite basic amenities. You get that charter-travel, package tour feel. Cleaning is pauver, tea, coffee and such are not refilled. Staff make the bed, put in towels and that is it. Breakfast is nice in spite of COVID procedures, but opt out of the half-board arrangement. The buffet is just not worth your 150 kuna per person. Be prepared to pay a 100 Kuna for using the hotel tennis-court (ridiculous). Pay the bicycles cash as they add some 30% if it is charged to the room. The indoor pool is very shallow and not realy woth a soak, but the gym is nice and well equipped. All in all we will look for something smaller and more personal next time we are in Rovinj.

Der Check In gestaltete sich etwas länger als üblich. 1 Std. und 15 Minuten ist schon ungewöhnlich, 3 Mitarbeiter/innen gaben ihr Bestes, waren aber den vielen anreisenden Gästen nicht gewachsen. Dabei blieben sie sehr freundlich und nett, erklärten alles was man wissen muss. Wenn das Management weiß, das so viele Leute anreisen, muss man sich besser vorbereiten. Man hätte die Wartenden auch mal fragen können, ob man die Wartezeit mit einem Kaffee oder ein Glas Sekt überbrücken kann. Leider Fehlanzeige, schade, so war unsere Freude erstmal gedämpft. Hotel schon etwas älter, was man von außen erkennen kann. Innen aber gut saniert, renoviert, sehr schöne Zimmer. Das Personal ist in allen Bereichen sehr freundlich und machen einen den Urlaub angenehm. Eiergerichte zum Frühstück überzeugten uns nicht, entweder kalt (Spiegeleier) oder der Geschmack ist nicht so, wie wir das auch von anderen Hotels in der Region kennen. Den Punktabzug gibt's für den SPA Bereich. Viel zu klein, für die Größe des Hotels. Obwohl überall steht, dass der Saunabereich textilfrei zu benutzen ist, sitzen ständig verhüllte Gäste in der Sauna und Dampfbad. Hier müssen größere Informationen angebracht werden und für alle sichtbar und das in verschiedenen Sprachen. Wichtig ist es, dies ständig zu kontrollieren. Vorhin saß eine Muttvorgenowerden.

Far from Eden.
I returned in this hotel after 10 years or so. The rooms very redecorated in our room was very clean. Beside friendly staff and free parking unfortunately that is all that is good in this hotel. We waited almost an hour for the check-in. The line was long as I would wait for the last plane to evacuate planet earth. Same story for the breakfast and dinner. If you don't pick odd hours for dinning you my find yourself looking for a free table for 10 minutes. I can't imagine what looks like on high season in July or august there. Tables in the dinning room are big as there are only families with 5 children or so. You have no privacy at all. The food is tasteless. The staff there is a disaster. They were not able to clean our big table (for 8 people) the whole time we were dinning our meal. So the two of us sat there among the piles of food and dirty plates that have been left from people that ate before we came. The room was cold. Although the air-conditioner could heat, that wasn't enough. They won't see us again there.

Wonderful stay at Eden
This hotel has everything. The location and the activities are awesome. The room was comfortable,nice ,big and clean. The only complaint I have is the coffee it was just ok.I enjoyed the pools and the beach access with all the complimentary launges. It was a short pleasant walk to the old town with all the shops and restaurants. The staff at this hotel were all friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel. It's nice for families with children as well.

Eden is beautifully refurbished. Our room, a family suite was perfect for our family of four. The location is stunning, surrounded by trees and the gardens are well maintained. The pool area is lovely and even though it is shared with Lone, we never had any issues getting sunbeds when we usually arrived in the afternoon. The beach area was lovely but quite small so got very busy. The walk into Rovinj is lovely along the promenade. We hired bikes and kayaks from the hotel. Although kayaks are way overpriced at €20 an hour when around the bay in the forest you can hire them for €6. Buffet breakfast had a good selection and quality was ok. We had to eat there one evening due to bad weather and the quality of the food wasn’t good, especially for the price. Plenty more amazing restaurants in town.

In die Jahre gekommen gekommenes Hotel
Ein in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, Strand voll von Quallen leider, Pool Salzwasser ok, Fahrräder kosten extra und E-Bikes überteuert. Teure Getränkepreise z.B. Aperol Sprizz € 9,00, 1 Kugel Eis € 3,00, Pizza ab € 14,00 einfach zu viel! Das beste kam aber zum Schluss, da wir am Abreisetag noch länger bleiben wollten, auschecken um 12 Uhr ja in Ordnung, wollten wir die Strandtücher noch behalten, wir hätten dafür € 40,00 an Miete bezahlen sollen?! Eine Kaution wäre ja für uns total ok gewesen aber Miete, da fragt man sich schon und das beste war dann die Dame an der Rezeption die mit uns voll auf Konfrontation ging und mit uns in einem sehr unguten und streitbaren Ton sprach. Wir sollen froh sein das der Parkplatz gratis ist für die Stunden die wir lönger bleiben. Fazit Massenhotel total überteuert und schlechter Service, sehr Schade! Einziger Lichtblick im ganzen Hotel war ein freundlicher Kellner Namens Bojan 10 Points!

Nach dem Check-out ist es uns leider nicht möglich, Gästen, die im Hotel übernachtet haben, Strand- und Poolnutzungsservices anzubieten, da wir Gäste nach dem Check-out nicht mehr im System registrieren können.Wir bieten Ihnen stets die kostenfreie Nutzung des Parkservices sowie der Gepäckaufbewahrung während des gesamten Check-out-Tages an.Aufgrund der hohen Auslastung des Hotels das ganze Jahr über ist es uns leider nicht möglich, Gästen, die auschecken, und Gästen, die im Hotel übernachten, gleichzeitig einen Service am Pool und am Strand anzubieten.Was das Personal an der Rezeption betrifft, so macht das Personal seine Arbeit und befolgt die Anweisungen. Super Anlage mit perfekter Lage. Schöner Strand, ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß ins Zentrum vom Rovinj. Guter Wellness Bereich, tolle Pools. Die Buffets hätten eventuell etwas abwechslungsreicher sein können. Wir hatten nichts zu bemängeln.

Overall this is really a beautiful property. you should know that the hotel is huge and from end to end is a very long walk. f the room you get is at the far end everything you do is a long walk. Additionally the parking is really not on the hotel property. Approximately 2 weeks away. It is an inconvenience.

É um resort muito bem localizado. Ótimas acomodações. Tudo funciona bem. E o entorno é maravilhoso: piscina, praia, parque e o charmoso centro de Rovinj - tudo ali, bem pertinho. Gostamos muito.

Leider war das gebuchte Zimmer nicht vorhanden, weshalb wir ein anderes bekamen. Als Entschädigung bekamen wir kostenloses Abendessen. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Der Herr, welcher das Gepäck aufs Zimmer bringt nicht. Das „Restaurant“ ist maßlos überfüllt und es entsteht ein Lärmpegel, welcher äußerst ungemütlich ist. Preis / Leistung passt hier einfach nicht. Am 2. Tag bekam ich eine Mail mit dem Hinweis es wären Nichtraucherzimmer. Da wir Nichtraucher sind verwundert mich das ein wenig. Alles in allem waren wir nicht zufrieden und werden in Zukunft wieder in einem anderen Hotel schlafen!

A well-maintained hotel with a easy 20 minute walk into town along the Adriatic shoreline. The breakfast is phenomenal!
