"I absolutely loved this property! They were so kind to our family from start to finish. My daughter had trouble sleeping because she forgot her medication. My wife had to drive 2 1/2 hours back home, 2 1/2 hours back to bring it to her. She woke up late for breakfast, but the staff was so kind and hooked her up anyway. They didn’t have to do that because it isn’t required. They offered to do that just because. They didn’t even know the whole situation of why she woke up late. when we go back we...

"Our stay was clean and the beds were comfortable. Felt safe with many other families staying in the hotel. Parking was great. The only issue was not enough luggage carts. The front desk only has 2 and definitely needs more for the amount of people needing them. Free breakfast was great. The coffee was consistently out, but the lady trying to keep up with everything was very friendly and tried to get more out as soon as possible. Overall, it was a great day and would recommend over other hotels...

"Check in with Kendall was effortless. He is an outstanding employee, super helpful, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. My friends and I had an excellent stay to attend our 55th class reunion. "We liked everything about this property.
We will be telling others about Candlewood Suites. We will be staying again in the future. I really loved the cuboards and the fact that they were stocked with plates, cereal bowls, salad bowls etc. Drawers had silverware for for 2 people plus can opener etc. Stove refrigerator microwave. This is top notch. Staff was so polite and enjoyable too. We came down from Cheboygan MI for a funeral this made our trip worth it.

"The rooms could definitely use some TLC. The carpet was stained. A floor lamp with a missing on/off knob. Wallpaper coming off the wall and the bed was squeaky and uncomfortable. The freezer part of the fridge was so full of ice you couldn’t put anything in it. On a good note; the bathroom was very clean, however, the water would only get warm. When we went for breakfast we were happy to see that it was very clean and there was someone there cleaning as people were getting food. The food was...

"I love the fact it’s pet friendly, my kids loved the breakfast. I recommend the Hotels works on proving enough towels and toilet paper in each room. When we asked for additional towels the Receptionist said we had to wait for the morning. She was not apologetic at all. It was four of us with only one set of towels for all of us. Not a good way to spend the night after a beach day. Another situation we ran out of toilet paper in the middle of the night. "
