The living room has a comfortable sofa and television. In the kitchen, you'll find everything you need to prepare delicious meals: extractor fan, hob, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, oven, fridge/freezer, etc. Enjoy your meal at the kitchen bar. The modern shower room includes a washing machine and the bedroom has a double bed for a good night's sleep.

## Neighborhood
The Préfecture district of Rouen is located in the heart of the city, in a central and dynamic area. It owes its name to the presence of the Seine-Maritime Prefecture, a major administrative institution for the city and the département. It is a district with both a historical and administrative character, with an architecture that blends old and modern buildings, reflecting the history and evolution of Rouen.
Rouen has a rich history, and the Préfecture district is no exception. Although it has been modernised, it retains some historic architectural features, in particular buildings dating back to different eras. The proximity of the River Seine also adds to the district's charm, providing a link between historic areas and more modern districts.
As well as the Prefecture, the district is home to other important administrative buildings, such as police and gendarmerie offices, as well as a number of judicial institutions. It is often used by Rouen residents for administrative purposes.
It is also a lively district, with many shops, restaurants, cafés and a number of art galleries providing a cultural and artistic touch. Its central location attracts many passers-by, whether tourists, residents or workers. The streets are often bustling with activity, particularly when leaving the office and during lunch breaks.
With excellent public transport links, the Préfecture district is easily accessible, whether by bus, metro or even on foot for residents of the city centre. Its location close to the banks of the Seine also makes it ideal for strolling along the river.
Although the district is mainly urban and administrative, it is not far from a number of green spaces, notably the quays of the Seine, where cultural events and outdoor activities are sometimes held.
The Préfecture district has an active, almost effervescent atmosphere during the day due to its administrative and professional activities. It is also a meeting point for many of Rouen's residents and workers. In the evening, the area becomes quieter, although some cafés and restaurants remain open to welcome night owls.

## Transit
Le Flaubert has a free secure car park in the residence. In Rouen, rue Gustave Flaubert is served by several means of transport, including:
1. Buses
Route F1: This frequent service runs through several districts of Rouen and stops near rue Gustave Flaubert.
T2 line: Another bus line that can bring you closer to this street, depending on your point of departure.
You can check timetables and stops on the Transdev Normandie Rouen website, the website of Rouen's public transport operator.
2. TEOR (Transport Est-Ouest Rouennais)
TEOR T1, T2 and T3: TEOR lines are high-frequency bus services with dedicated lanes to avoid the dense traffic in the city centre.
The TEOR passes at the end of the street.
3. Cycling and the Véloroute
Rouen has cycle lanes and bike hire services such as Cy'clic, which offers self-service bike hire.
The Véloroute de la Seine is also a good option for those who prefer to get around by bike. Although this route does not pass directly through the rue Gustave Flaubert, it is linked to many of Rouen's streets and districts.
4. Walking
Depending on your point of departure, Rouen is a pleasant city to get around on foot, with many pedestrianised streets and places within easy reach.
5. Taxis and VTCs
Taxi and VTC services (Uber, Bolt, etc.) are available in Rouen for fast, flexible travel.
Rouen train station is less than 10 minutes' walk from the accommodation.
## Notes
Please note that the building does not have a lift and that the flat is located on the 2nd floor. Access may be difficult for people with reduced mobility or those carrying large suitcases.
Arrivals are independent for greater flexibility. Arrivals are from 4pm and departures must be no later than 11am.
The accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week (from 10am to 9pm). In the house, all our guests receive household linen, basic necessities for the first day (shampoo, shower gel, hand gel, toilet paper, etc.) as well as a large towel per person, together with tea towels and a bath mat per bathroom. A welcome kit with kitchen bin bag, bathroom bin bag, sponge and dishwasher liquid is provided free of charge on arrival for the duration of your stay.
We are committed to providing a pleasant experience, however, please note that we are not a hotel service. Any mid-stay cleaning, linen/towel freshening, replenishment of essentials or deliveries can be arranged on request at an additional cost. When you confirm your stay, you will receive the ArchiDuchesse tourist booklet, our vouchers with promotional codes for our partners of choice and the arrival instructions for your accommodation.
The Cour de l'Archiduchesse offers a range of services to make your stay as pleasant as possible: baby equipment hire, luggage storage, shuttle service, baby-sitting, gourmet boxes, requests for sightseeing tours, creation of events (wedding proposals, birthdays, room themes, etc.) and much more! Taking advantage of a rental also means respecting a few rules to ensure that everything runs smoothly and to avoid any surprises with the deposit! Remember to look after the property as if it were your own: avoid damage, respect the furniture and leave it clean when you leave. Respect the rules on opening hours and the use of equipment, and respect the peace and quiet of your neighbours. And if you have any concerns, don't hesitate to let us know. Don't forget that parties are strictly forbidden (€250 deducted from the deposit), that the accommodation is entirely non-smoking (€50 deducted from the deposit), that pets are forbidden (€50 deducted from the deposit) unless requested and agreed in advance by us and that any loss, theft or damage will be invoiced at the actual replacement value.
