The Neighborhood:

Forest Lakes Lux sits in leafy, peaceful Lynmore, one of Rotorua's most sought-after suburbs and a favourite with mountain bikers for its closeness to the Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest - a short bike ride from the door and home to world-class trails, walking tracks and the Treewalk. You're a quick drive to everything else: Te Puia's geysers and living Maori village are about eight minutes away, the lakefront, the hot pools at Polynesian Spa and Wai Ariki Spa and the cafes and restaurants of central Rotorua around ten, and Skyline's gondola and luge, Zorb and Canopy Tours about eighteen on the western side of town. Everyday shops and services are just a short drive away.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended, with a double internal-access garage plus free driveway and street parking. Mountain bikers can ride to the Redwoods forest trails, a short ride from the door (about five minutes by car to the Treewalk). Te Puia and Rotorua Airport are both around eight minutes, the lakefront and central Rotorua about ten, and Skyline, Zorb and Canopy Tours roughly eighteen on the western side of town.



Other Things to Note:

WIFI runs at around 88 Mbps. There's a heat pump for climate control. The second living area's fold-out sofa is ideal for extra guests or children.
