I have a few minor complaints, but I still rate the property a 5. The TV was in a slightly weird location. The balcony was very narrow. The breakfast was just OJ, some bagels, and coffee. We ended up going out for breakfast. Other than these minor issues, I recommend the hotel.

The breakfast buffet offered a nice variety of foods with slightly different variation both mornings. I'm looking forward to staying at Shepherd's Run again so I can try their own wine!"

"Great location right in the center of Charleston. The hotel history was very unique. Had a fantastic sleep in the room. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. "Room 31 was on the corner, so it had a lovely partial ocean view from the balcony. I got a lot of exercise going up the stairs to get to that level, which was good for me. The shower products were three oddly different scents: rum, peppermint and cilantro. I did mention this at checkout."

"Such a great stay at the Mill Street Inn. Beautiful studio suite with comfortable bed and nice sitting area. We enjoyed the morning breakfasts. Staff was exceptional and the free sangria was a nice touch. Cannot beat the location being 1 block from all the wharf action and all the Newport shops. We will be back. I highly recommend the Mill Street Inn. Do not forget to check out the root top. Nice place to relax, drink or eat."

We loved being able to put our children to bed in one room and enjoy the rest of the evening in the spacious living room. Out of the 5 employees we came in contact with 4 were extremely friendly and service minded.

Priscilla made the check in process smooth and was available for any questions or concerns! Such a beautiful and cozy spot will 100% come back to stay at this quaint Inn!!! Parking is not available on site but was given a very detailed list of parking options. We parked for free in a lot (15 min walk) for 2 days no issues. Easy and beautiful walk so it worked out well!
