Descanso perfecto naturaleza y mar
Un lugar donde se cuidan los detalles, atendido por sus dueños es un hotel muy bonito, ideal para descansar, hermosa vegetación, solo se escucha el canto de las aves. A pocos pasos caminando de la playa, muy conveniente.

We really enjoyed our stay. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious, very good! The pool was well maintaned, was very inviting, clean. The room was clean and comfortable, hot water and good AC. The location is super good. Hope to stay there again.

Nice but some improvements needed
This was a nice bed and breakfast and the hosts were wonderful. The place was clean. The breakfasts were superb! The down-side: very far from the beach to walk and not really any place to park if you drive, the mattress was VERY uncomfortable and finally, there is a very musty smell in the rooms and towels.

We are very sorry about that but nobody never said us that there is a problem of musty smell on the room... We never had any complain for the bed too, it's a very thick orthopedic mattress. Walking time to the beach is 10mn and there is 3 parking near the beach and another access too. We are really sorry that your stay was not good but It will be better to not do an anonymous review to help us to improve.

Fabulous B&B!! Owners were welcoming and lovely, room was clean and had everything we needed. The courtyard/pool is so pretty and just a great place to sit and relax. Ten minute walk to the beach. Can’t wait to stay here again—I would recommend Villa Botero to anyone.

Perfect romantic getaway

Nice little beach retreat.
Lovely little spot with a high level of comfort located about 800 meters from the beach. Great spot to birdwatch from and to the beach. The spaces are compact but clean and well-appointed. Friendly and capable hosts.

A little gem in Rio Hato
Great bed and breakfast near the beach in Rio Hato. Wonderful setting, private place with just 3 rooms. Nice pool, gracious hosts, and cool a/c. We told them one of us was gluten intolerant and they made a special breakfast for us - very nice and refreshing in contrast to the bad service we had all over Panama.

Very nice stay, very clean. Food was terrific. The only bad thing I have to say is the road to get there was in poor shape.

Très bon accueil
Nous avons passé 3 jours très agréable à la Villa Botero. Aucun problème entre la réservation initiale et la réception au jour prévu. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et donnent des conseils pratiques pour les restaurants, accès aux plages,.... A noter des petits déjeuners copieux et variés chaque jour.

Trevligt boende i lugn miljö
Trevligt boende i lugn och avkopplande miljö. Rummen höll ok standard, dock saknades varmvatten tidvis. Fantastisk innergård och bra frukost. Bra service med fri pick-up till och från Santa Clara busshållplats.

Nice Place Away from the Beach
Friendly, English speaking French couple, nice pool and grounds, but about 3/4 mile from the beach. Room was terrific, but for the price, we expected hot water.

Thanks for your review. We are sorry you had no hot water, the other guests before and after you didn't have any problem. We checked again hot water after your departure and everything worked. We didn't know whats happen. All our excuses for this inconvenience.

À Panama, faire comme les panaméens !
Je recommande ce très joli petit B&B tenu par un couple de français sympathiques et discrets. La plage est à 800 mètres, mais il est possible de stationner à proximité. Santa Clara est un petit centre de villégiature fréquenté par les panaméens. De plus il y a un bon restaurant à proximité, le Xoco. Joli séjour pour se reposer.

The hidden gem
This is not a 5 star resort, that has a buffet to feed half of Panama, nor does it have multiple pools, or enough activities to keep you busy for the year BUT it does have, peace, quiet, a family sense of belonging, wonderful baking by the owner and a relaxing atmosphere- a true gem! Snacks, dinner are a treat, as the owner bakes fresh buns, croissants, muffins and the bun for a superb hamburger and a fresh quiche. Prices are low and the quality is high The "home" is just a short walk to the beach with miles and miles of sand and few visitors, makes you feel you own the beach. The restaurant has a wonderful jug of sanguine with $15 lobster

Uitstekend!! Attente (Franse) gastheer Christophe. Slechts 1 bemerking : ligging niét "vlak aan het strand" zoals beschreven bij hotels.com maar een kleine kilometer verwijderd. Op hun eigen website wél goed aangegeven (hebben we achteraf gelezen).

Quaint and Cozy
After driving in Panama for six days, you would think we could find our way. We couldn't. After circling and using GPS we found the Villa. It is very quaint and cozy. The hosts are great. They even let us wash our dirty car. The Villa was quiet and well maintained. We would recommend it to others.

Lovely hotel, terrible bed
Villa Botero is a beautiful b+b on a quiet road minutes from a gorgeous beach. Christophe and Nadege are a lovely couple who make you feel right at home. I do have two complaints about the place tho. Both my daughter and I found the bed very uncomfortable, we both had extremely sore backs by our third night there. The second complaint is about the shower....it fluctuated between boiling hot and ice cold water every thirty seconds, made it very difficult to have a shower. I don't think being off grid had anything to do with that, probably a faulty regulator.....hope they fix it!! Other than those two things, Villa Botero is a very beautiful spot to be.

schönes B&B an ruhiger Lage mit netten Besitzern
Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort, aber es hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war auch gut. In der Nähe hat es einen schönen ruhigen Strand, den man gut zu Fuss erreichen könnte.

Lovely B&B close to beach
Perfect location, very easy to find and only 10 minutes walk to the beach. Also very easy to take a bus straight into the city in less than two hours. Room was spotless and had a lovely en-suite. Breakfast was very nice, and the hosts were very welcoming. Nice pool area to relax in with nice atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again.

A real gem of a B&B
This is a beautiful little B&B. In immaculate condition throughout with lovely pool, seating/relaxation area. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable. The owners were very helpful- just the right mix of great, personal service and leaving you alone to enjoy. The breakfast was delicious and freshly made- including the home baked bread. I would highly recommend this hotel.
