"We spent Labor Day weekend here. It was absolutely perfect. So relaxing to sit and read by the lake, or to take a swim. The house has everything you could need and the hosts are so kind and amazing. It was just simply perfect. Wonderful area with access to trails not too far away, and we brought our kayaks and did open water swims in the lake <3 "

"This property is nothing short of amazing! I hosted my sister’s bachelorette party here and it was such a huge hit- everyone loved it! Nick and Jena were also such amazing hosts. They were extremely accommodating, quick to respond, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our weekend and celebration! "We had a great time swimming, fishing and cooking s’mores by the lake. The kitchen was well equipped and the table large enough to fit all of us. The house worked well for sleeping arrangements. The steep wood stairs down to the dock were tough for the little ones, but the alternate rock steps were nice "

"We stayed at Feathered Acres relatively last minute (thanks Trisha!!) after making some travel plan changes and we had such a wonderful time. Travelled with mom and my two toddlers and we all had a blast. We stayed in the smaller studio unit the first night and the larger two bedroom unit the second night and both were so cute, thoughtful and comfortable! "This was a cute little house on a beautiful small lake and community. It was the perfect location for a small family gathering and for me to make lasting memories with her mom in her hometown with family. It's a perfect location for small families too, and only wish I'd found it when my kids were younger but also a nice place for any age. Definately will be back. Thanks for the memories."

"Very unique and beautiful house! We caught fish from the dock. Had campfire every night. Property manager was very responsive to our needs. The steps down to the lake were quite a few but well worth it. Could use some solar lights on steps to guide the way after dark. I highly recommend staying here."

"My friend with her girls and mother stayed with me here and we used it for our home base for a week long stay for the Bluegrass Jam Camp and festival in Richmond. It worked so well for us! Because it's over a bar/restaurant the kids could be as loud and jump around as much as they wanted! The unit is well stocked, and when we ran out of towels and TP Pat the property manager washed them all and brought them back quickly. He had the door unlocked and AC on when I arrived, and Gloria helped me...
