Absolutely terrible customer service. I booked it via Expedia therefore was treated like third citizen. Why did they partner with Expedia if the want to treat guest like this. Got to the hotel earlier then check in time but the 2 rooms were not available only one was. From 1:30 pm until 4:15 the front desk staff kept telling us the room is still getting clean. We drove all night and couldn’t wait to check in. And now they are an hour late and he said that they don’t guarantee a room at 3 pm instead that anytime between 3-11pm they will provide a room. Really? Which hotel customer service teaches that. No manager on site. He said we were assigned a particular kind of room which was unknown to us and indicated that expedían must have assigned it which again is not true or we weren’t aware that we were assigned a handicap room. I did not select this room type. We selected 2 rooms queen beds for 2 adults and 3 kids. He never asked us is there any other room type we would be willing to take based on the rooms that are being cleaned and available. He never offered to call us and update on the status. Just simply not available without any estimate time. Not once apologize for any inconvenience. Just unwilling to help, was definitely not trained on customer service. Regardless of how convenient and clean the facility is my experience is so terrible that I would never stay at Holiday Inn ING again and will not recommend this particular hotel to anyone.
