"Staff was great and the breakfast was pretty good. Was disappointed that the bed was very uncomfortable and there was a lot of dust/dead bugs in the lights of our room but overall good value for the money."

"The location was clean. The room was very spacious. It was quiet and immediately I felt like I was at home. Spacious and it has a small fridge, microwave and kureg for coffee. I favorited this location and will be sure to return when I am back in Rhode Island. I rate the location 5/5.

"This is a cute little property. Our room is all modern and up todate....a small ice machine is provided in the room with a coffee machine, microwave and mini fridge...outaide is a very clean pool, sandbox, bikes, basketball hoop and a huge firepit area with adarondack chairs which we enjoy sitting around and chatting with other guests....a great night stay and will definitely be back!!!!"

"A friend and I stayed a night at this hotel when I came down from Boston to see a show at Theatre by the Sea. This place was one of the more affordable options, and we were both really impressed with it! Check-in was quick and easy and the two queen bed room was incredibly spacious. There was a fridge and microwave as well, so this seems like it could be a great place for a longer stay. Normally, I like a firm mattress, but these seemed a bit hard for my taste. That's my only real complaint...

"Room 31 was on the corner, so it had a lovely partial ocean view from the balcony. I got a lot of exercise going up the stairs to get to that level, which was good for me. The shower products were three oddly different scents: rum, peppermint and cilantro. I did mention this at checkout."

"We came to the shore house disheveled from a bad uber experience. We were early at check in but quickly the front desk receptionist took our bags and escorted us to the restaurant where the staff continued to care for us and put our troubles behind us. Thank you all! "

"Great location right in the center of Charleston. The hotel history was very unique. Had a fantastic sleep in the room. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Had a great dinner and also a breakfast for ourselves and friends in the morning. Grounds had a flea market that was fun to walk around. Will be back next summer!"

"This hotel was very nice overall. Our room had a separate sitting area with the fridge and microwave.
I have a few minor complaints, but I still rate the property a 5. The TV was in a slightly weird location. The balcony was very narrow. The breakfast was just OJ, some bagels, and coffee. We ended up going out for breakfast. Other than these minor issues, I recommend the hotel.
