"Very clean, comfortable, spacious room. I received a text letting me know I could go right to the room which would be open with key inside. The owner/manager came to our room as soon as we drove in to explain the air conditioning as it was unusually warm, which was much appreciated. Although the motel is on a main road the rooms are set back and it was very quiet. Good convenient place to stay overnight before morning ferry."

"Beautiful property, would absolutely love to go again. Everything was tidy and clean, and the kitchen had all the items needed to prepare a few excellent meals. Lake was beautiful and serene. The host was also very friendly and super welcoming, I had no issues or worries at all. "

"A simple hotel with above average service. Breakfasts (included) were cooked for us, hot, each morning. Real breakfast too, eggs, sausage, waffles, whatever we chose. The staff were so friendly and helpful! Rythem was so incredibly helpful!"

"This was an EXCEPTIONAL and ELEGANT suite. Very comfortable and spacious. After a long drive it was SO wonderful to have that kind of luxury waiting for us. The only downside was we only stayed the one night to take the ferry the next morning (which was a 5 minute drive away). We had drinks at Rudders overlooking the water AND then we picked up a delicious VEGAN dinner at Café Caye Mange to bring back to our suite. It was just a lovely way to end our time in Nova Scotia! "
