After the first night we did have someone in the room - apparently to clean it… but the trash bag was left on the bed, the towels had not been replaced, and the desk has not been cleaned. "If your looking for peaceful off the beaten track lodgings ,then this is the place for you. My wife and I have really enjoyed our stay here.The bungalow is well equiped with everything you need. The surrounding area is good for bird watchers with hedgerows,open fields and skies. Not too far (15 mins) is Barnaby sands marsh where we enjoyed long walks as far as Knott end and beyond. "The room looked better than the photos online. It was spotless and everything was just right - the linens, the carpet, the water temperature in the shower. Sam was an amazing host - when there was an issue with the booking and I encountered issues trying to resolve it with the booking platform - she was helpful and reassuring. My stay was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious - loved the granary bread and I forgot to ask Sam about the coffee - exceptional blend, I want to buy some....

"Had Mole End and Woodpecker booked for a long weekend with friends. Gorgeous location with some amazing sunsets luckily! Mole end was really clean and surprisingly spacious given it only sleeps six and it was really useful having the two cottages next two each other - we were mainly based in woodpecker but it helped to come and go. Would definitely stay again!"

"Lovely spacious property in a great location. Explored locally & short distances to other areas - we went to Morecombe & Lancaster for a mooch and was only 30min drive. Facilities great - lovely garden & hot tub.
