"This is the most quaint place I’ve ever stayed. After talking to the owner, this used to be an old courthouse. many years ago. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for old world charm, and to find a piece of history in the Wrexham area. The people the service and the food are top-notch. Highly recommend."

"Absolutely stunning stay! This place is so peaceful and really allows you to ‘switch off’. The cottage was lovely, very spacious and homely. The only niggle we would have to mention would be the bed which wasn’t very comfortable at all (sorry) and good luck if you’re taller than 5’9! Other than that everything was really lovely and would definitely recommend. We would love to visit again if the bed was replaced for one that was bigger and more comfortable 😊"

"Our stay was fabulous. The food is 12/10 We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house. Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time "

"Only overnight, but really lovely stay. Rooms are across the courtyard from the pub. Was quiet when we were there as it was a Sunday, but there had been an event the day before. Lovely areas in the pub itself, we found some wing-backed arm chairs and played one of the Scrabble games they'd provided, while we had some food and drink. Breakfast in the same area the following morning was delicious. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a basket of treats. Staff were friendly and helpful. ...

"The hostel is in a really convenient part of Llangollen and is a lovely house with great additional facilities, like a kitchen and lounge. Jamie is a really excellent host and made sure to check in with us that everything was ok - he couldn't have been more helpful. "
