"Hotel was once a grand place - currently needs TLC. Not as clean as you would expect. Restaurant menu & service were not up to Blennerhassett reputation. Not sure I would stay there again."

"First room was not cleaned and ready. Second room had towels with braun markings, old towel still in bathroom and dirt (soil) around the zink."

"Overall decent for the money"

"The staff were friendly and easy to talk to. She helped us find a place to eat near by. The room was clean and comfortable, Our breakfast in the morning was excellent. We did a little site seeing at Fort Boreman Scenic Overlook where you can see the Ohio River. It was beautiful view and had historical significance. We would stay here again."

"The room smelled horribly, dog pee and blood in carpet, tape holding light switch down, I walked in room and immediately left. Requesting refund!! "

"The host was wonderful in communicating! The place is super cute, private, clean, and comfortable. I would note that if you are 6'2" it will be a bit tight in the shower, but the water is good and hot and the shower head has good pressure! The loft ladder could be a bit heavy for a small person, but it is doable. The location is very convenient for Parkersburg/Marietta. Parking is gravel, but very well maintained. It is a great little place to stay!"

"Everything was as advertised. It was perfect for what I needed."
