"Staff is always welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms are always clean and top notch!"

"If you don’t want to drive back into town for dinner and drinks , local taxi was $10 each way very reasonable (you’re on motorbikes so that was very handy)"

"Samme receptionist var en evighed om at opdage at der var gæster, der skulle tjekke ind og ud. Ved udtjekning måtte en anden anden ansat gøre hende opmærksom på, at der var gæster i receptionen, der skulle betjenes. Om eftermiddagen var receptionisten meget optaget af at se tv i opholdsstuen med lyden skruet upassende højt op. Hotellet er ret slidt. Pris og kvalitet er acceptabelt."

"Smoking room option online. No smoking rooms available once on-site. Told no smoking in room. Bedding and pillows riddled with burn holes. Ceiling paint peeling and dropping, dark along seams. Wall paint peeling and dropping. Toilet backed up after first use, called front desk. Said maintenance man would come, but they never sent anyone to fix. No plunger in room, took back off toilet and manually moved to get some to go down, bowl would not drain. Was able to keep from flowing over but all use...

"What a unique experience getting to stay at this old country store. I admire the owner's desire to preserve a part of history. The property was exceptionally clean, well-supplied and I had a wonderful stay. If I need overnight accommodations in the area, I'll definitely try to stay here again."

"Beautiful views. Didn’t see any bears lol. We arrived after dark and had some trouble figuring out how to get in but the host was quick to respond. Make sure you know 2nd bathroom is in detached building outside. I missed that in the description. It was a nice place to stay really comfortable beds. Host set up play area at the bottom which was nice for the kids. Porch has a swing for relaxing. Veranda was where I spent a lot of time. I love the rocking chairs. Very peaceful."

"The property was clean and just as advertised. The owner was also very flexible in extending our check out time by a little bit since the checkout time was 10 and we had a funeral at 1, leaving us with 3 hours of downtime. We were all very appreciative and would leave a higher review if possible!"

"A great place to get away from the stressful work environment, or for any reason. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful area in the mountains."

"This house is just what we need when coming in to Whitesburg to visit family!"
