"Its a great property on the foot hills of Banasura Hills near Vellamunda. The staff are excellent and very friendly. I just loved the property. The property is bit away from Kalpeta(about 28 kms) and is away from almost all sightseeing places. So look that if you wish to do more sightseeing, you will need to travel a bit. "Over a number of years we have stayed at lots of different hotels in India ranging from 2 star to 5 star and the Oshin Hotel in Kalpetta was the best for us. The standards of hygiene were excellent (no bugs in sight), all areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean and whatever we asked for e.g. iron and ironing board, extra coat hangers, more towels etc, were produced in moments. What makes this hotel extra special are the staff, every single one of them whether it was a housemaid, reception...

"We were impressed with the hotel facilities and your clan the room was. The service was excellent and the staff ensure our stay was comfortable. My only gripe was that the room mattress was a little soft , not ideal for back related issues. The reception were quick to address any issues, if we had any. Breakfast was ok. We also attended their New Year Gala Dinner which was entertaining and the food was nice. Thanks to the whole team for making our stay memorable."

Accent on on-site activities is justifiable; surrounding attractions outside the property, while famous, are incredibly crowded and congested and better to enjoy the excellent ambiance, service and cuisine and superb cabin rooms drenched with birdsongs!"

Chef Riyas came to chat with us, offered to make us whatever we wished, and even made a birthday cake for my wife. Food was excellent. The massage therapists, Juni and Raji proved to be extraordinary practitioners - don’t leave here without having a massage.
