"The owner was was very kind, friendly, and accommodating and had a cute gift shop. She also made a wonderful breakfast that started out with a baked apple! The yard and house were decorated very nicely for the holidays, complete with music to add to the ambiance. The room had everything we needed and included an amazing copper bath tub that was wonderful to soak in. Overall it was a great place to sleep and relax with much more character than a hotel room could ever have. "

"We were looking to get away for a weekend away from the kids and the images on VRBO were so cute, that even though only two nights were available we still decided to make the 5 hour drive from Milwaukee. It was definitely worth it. The weather wasn't perfect, but we really just wanted a cozy, intimate space to get away to, and this place most certainly checked all the boxes. We will return, maybe even with the kids next time. Absolutely loved our stay and would recommend to anyone."

"This cabin is perfect for a small family or two couples. The location is perfect. There’s plenty of dock space. The screened-in porch overlooks a quiet bay. The cabin is just a few steps from the water. It was well-stocked and had everything we needed. I’d bring a fan along if staying during summer as the upstairs bedrooms were very warm on a hot summer night. We loved this place and hope to come back soon!"

"My boyfriend and I only spent one night here for a quick stop in Hayward, but I could easily see spending a whole week. It was clean, and the bed is very comfy. It has lots of amenities, pretty much anything you could need. All we needed to bring was our food and clothes. We had a little fire and love the swinging egg chairs! The host, Matt, was very communicative and answered any questions I could have before I even asked them. Check in/out is a breeze. The location is great and within walking...
