"Breakfast: Nice selection of yogurt, fresh fruit, and scrambled eggs and breakfast meats. Staff: Desk clerk was very cordial and efficient. Parking: ample, and had places for handicapped parking close to the front door. What I didn't like was the noise from the room next door on the 1st night I was there. The next door neighbors were LOUD (?fighting?) well after 10. The clerk didn't mention the "quiet hours" on check in, which I think should have been mentioned. The other 4 nights I was...

"My first room did not have the AC turned on. It was already hot but humid too. Another room also didn't have the AC turned on. Third room had AC on and was cold. However, the new room wasn't cleaned well. Trash was on the floor. Long blonde hair on the bathroom counter (I have short black hair). But the thing sent me over was a dying cockroach on the bathroom floor."

"I was surprised to find this nice place in Eddyville, IA. It looks like a garage on a vacant lot that was transformed into a very nice “hotel suite”. I was there for a class reunion and some of my classmates mentioned they would stay there when visiting if available."

"Liked the open floor plan, kitchen/living room. Mostly a clean place, there was left over food in the fridge & the crisper bins were not clean. The toilet seat shifted when anyone sat on it, so very uncomfortable. The full sized bed was not comfortable because sleepers rolled together in the middle "

We slept downstairs since the bed is right by the stairs upstairs, and I get up several times in the night and the ceiling is a bit low for us tall people up there. Overall a good stay."
