"A hidden gem! The property, lush with plants, flowers and fountains is truly a botanical environment. From the minute we arrived, to the minute we departed, we were treated like family. Ms Wenie, Maureen, Jeffrey (shuttle driver) and all the bar/kitchen staff and groundskeepers were very polite, attentive and professional. I highly recommend this quiet hidden gem with all the amenities at hand over any large resort. Thank you for a great week! We will be back! -Steve M. "

"Villa del Mar is nicely located close to the beach on grace Bay, just behind Grace Bay Club, which you walk through to get to the beach, where Villa del Mar has their own area with service. Apartment was well equipped, aircon rather noisy though. Wifi worked mostly ok, but was sometimes slow. Breakfast was OK, but after a couple of days rather boring with two types of fruit, banana bread, rolls, cereals, toasts and croissants. Pool area was very nice and usually very quiet. "Breakfast options are great but the service is kind of scattered. Beach should be cleaned every night; at times we saw spoons, ice cream cups and cigarette butts near the cabanas which was not what we expected. Some of the employees go out of their way while others act like they are doing you a favor. Our room was lovely but it was in a building that had been recently updated. Very nice but overall not 5 star."

"We just got back from a week long stay with our family of 5, kids ages 9, 12, and 14. The property itself is beautiful and the grounds immaculate. My only complaint is that the pool got a little murky, but I’m sure that is hard to combat with all of the kids in and out. I did see them treating it in the morning.
