"We stayed at Turks Head Inn for one night during our visit to Grand Turk and had a lovely experience. The location is excellent—right in the historic area and just steps from the beach, which made it perfect for a short stay and exploring the island. "This is a smaller property, but the layout is very well thought out to make it feel bigger (you keep finding hidden corners). Staff is super helpful and friendly. You can walk downtown or use the free e-bikes they have to get there even faster. While the hotel is not directly on the beach, it is a very short walk (hint: cut through the parking lot, it's super close!) In summary, hotel is great! As for Turks and Caicos, I would not choose this island as a Caribbean destination... Prices are...

"Our room was in the new tower, building 4. It was a junior suite, very large, overlooking the beach. Very nice. The only drawback to the resort was a lack of dinner restaurants and the lack of sports for teens. I recommend putting up a volleyball net on the beach and coordinating activities for kids"

"Villa del Mar is nicely located close to the beach on grace Bay, just behind Grace Bay Club, which you walk through to get to the beach, where Villa del Mar has their own area with service. Apartment was well equipped, aircon rather noisy though. Wifi worked mostly ok, but was sometimes slow. Breakfast was OK, but after a couple of days rather boring with two types of fruit, banana bread, rolls, cereals, toasts and croissants. Pool area was very nice and usually very quiet. "Very clean grounds, very clean suite (thank you, Katia!). Staff are lovely. Lots of repeat guests. Very quiet rooms. To be honest when we first got there we were not sure it was for us, it’s a little older and the restaurant food isn’t special. But the place grows on you and is very quaint. If they could level-up the food, we’d return in a second. I also loved the yoga class by Lizzie on Tuesday morning. So nice. May be back next year. "
