The decor was dated (80s), the towels were pretty worn, the outside property could use some TLC (to make it more inviting), and the twin beds were uncomfortable. But to me, the cleanliness was the most important! Thanks!"

"no air conditioning, no shower. no toilet paper, no cabinet near sink to place tolietries, bath is shared with 4 other rooms, no wifi or phone service on the 12 mile treacherous access road, not one light at house if you arrive after dark, no one to show you where to get room key or where room is located . If you want to experience WV try Hawks Nest Lodge in Anstead WV by the new river gorge national park...a MUCH better experience for a lot less money"

"Cabin was very cold upon arrival. Bath tub possibly had black mold on paneling. Beds were uncomfortable. Only two small logs left next to fireplace. No wood outside like was in pics. We were made to purchase a damage insurance policy for 59 which is ridiculous. Couldn’t wait to leave. "

"We had a great stay. Just as advertised. It was a little chilly and we enjoyed the fireplace and the ample wood supply. The house was also supplied with all the necessities. The back deck was great. "

"My grandson and I stayed here over President's Day weekend. Although the condo unit is a bit worn, it worked persfectly for us. The unit has two bedrooms, a full bath and a great room with a full kitchen, and dining area (see photo) and a living area with with a fire place and entertainment unit. It is very conveniently located - a 5 to 10 minute drive to the Timberline downhill ski resort and the White Grass cross country ski area. The owner was very personable and easy to deal with. "
