"We had a wonderful time, the host was very helpful and friendly. The view of the Lake was beautiful and the many visits to the Golden State Park and Marina were enjoyed by myself and the dogs. We also visited the Yates Town Park which was just down the road a short drive. My husband and son went fishing and came back to a warm and cozy cottage! We loved it!!!"

We checked in during the evening when the hotel was not busy, yet we still had to wait several minutes because the front desk receptionist (I believe her name was Debby) was apparently at the gas station on the corner. During that time, the hotel entrance and desk were left completely unattended, which felt unsafe and unprofessional. "The parking lot had potholes so big they needed their own zip code. The staff member I encountered late at night was very pleasant to deal with. Room 6 was a surprise. Not having carpet is a great idea for cleanliness and allergies, but some trim moulding around the sheet vinyl edges would have finished it off nicely. The room was spotlessly clean, but the first light switch did nothing as the bulb must have been burnt out. Two reading lights mounted to the headboard had been smashed and...
