"We did not end up staying at this property because the host cancelled on us the day before. He reached out 2 months prior to tell us his pool would not be available and offered us a 20% refund. But he never provided it and did not communicate about this again. When we followed up about it, he cancelled the whole stay and tried to get us to change properties last minute. "This rental was the perfect home base for our four-day hiking trip—ideally located near both Minnewaska State Park and New Paltz. We were pleasantly surprised that the space was ready earlier than expected. Inside, everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. It was an ideal setup for two friends, with private bedrooms and plenty of shared space to relax after days outdoors. A truly great find—grab it if it’s available!"

We found charming restaurants very close by, we loved watching sunsets over the river each night and even tried our hand at fishing.
