It looks to be outside of Skaneateles and technically that is true, but it is 5 minute drive next to the lake with beautiful homes, etc. The building itself is beautiful, old but with a lovely aesthetic. It feels homey, but one that an interior designer designed. From board games to an ice machine at the ready while in front of the fire…it was delightful. "We had a wonderful stay here! A perfect size stay for 3 friends getting away for a day at the spa and a day shopping and eating around town. The sidewalk picks up right before the accommodation so it's a really nice walk to the center of town! Easy check-in and had everything we needed. "
