"The General's Cabin was a wonderful place for my husband and me to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. The cabin was exceptionally clean. Melissa had thought of everything you could possibly need. Inside had a well-stocked kitchen, a great coffee/tea bar, lots of little extras to make the stay enjoyable, extra towels, blankets, pillows etc. In the bathrooms there was a basket of soaps, lotions, shampoos and even toothbrushes in case you forgot to bring your own. The musical instruments were much appreciated - especially the guitars. 😎 There was a litter of grey fox kits (4 of them!) that joined us in the yard. The cutest little hints you’ve ever seen! "Fabulous weekend at this property. Three families slept comfortably in the three airstreams and enjoyed time together in the cozy well appointed cabin, by the campfire and grilling on the deck. Make note that there is only one bathroom in the lodge and WiFi is spotty but that it was good enough for our group of 9. In better weather you could also take advantage of the lake access. Would definitely stay there again in the summer. Bonus is proximity to SPAC."

"We haven’t stayed at the Georgian in quite a few years and were told that it was under new ownership. My husband and I were so pleasantly surprised at the changes that were made. Every room was brand new and extremely clean. The grounds were beautiful with an all new patio area with outdoor couches and multiple fire pits. The view at this hotel is incredible and we loved our stay. "

"What a nice 2 day stay with our dog Shelby! The hotel is nicely updated.Our king efficiency was very nice, roomy, and the bed was SO COMFORTABLE!. All the staff were very pleasant that we interacted with. The pool and hot tub were nice for a quick dip, lots of kids but its Lake George in the summer! I didnt ever see towels at the pool so bring your own. Just some minor comments. Some areas need a detail cleaning. The elevator walls, buttons and floors needed attention as well as the tile...

"We were supposed to stay 2 nights but had to cancel 1 because my husband couldn’t get the day off. We stayed one night and it was clean and perfect for families! My 2 year old was excited about the pool and the playground. The pillows were too fluffy for me - but that’s my own personal preference. I like a more flat pillow. I have never seen a hotel with 3 beds in it before. It was the perfect set up for our quick family trip. We look forward to coming back and staying longer! "
