"Very convenient location, walking distance to the town. The kitchen is well equipped for doing light meals. The bed is very comfortable and overall the unit is clean. Overall a satisfactory stay if you’re prepared to overlook a couple of issues. However, the freezer section of the fridge was not clean. There was an unpleasant smell in the unit, possibly cooking smells from the adjoining unit which had a door, also every noise from that unit could be heard.. "

"The place is basic and simple, as expected. The carpet was grey with dirt in areas and needed a clean, however the owner is now trying to charge me $165 for cleaning the carpet due to dog smell. This is after we paid him $60 extra in cash to be nice as we had 3 dogs. This was above what we already paid just as a nice gesture. "We were offered a different apartment to the one booked as the apartment booked had a long term booking. This would have been known well in advance but only communicated the day prior to arrival. The unit offered as an alternative was dirty. It smelt of cat urine and the courtyard had an empty beer can and a plastic container with a dead spider in it. "Wow, this place from the very arrival to leaving you made us feel like we were family (even hugs when leaving). Heidi and Micheal are absolute super stars , you guys rock, next visit I'm sure we can sit and share a bottle of Wine. The apartment and facilities are first class, we cant wait to come back and use the outdoor kitchen. We loved the horses and even Mr Chaz was enjoying himself. "This was a reasonably priced motel, ideally located on edge of Tanunda - a gateway to Barossa wineries. Though a dated motel the amenities have been renovated and clean, well equipped, spacious rooms make this an easy place to stay."
