Everything nice and clean. Full breakfast is in a nice dining room, with tasty foods. All in all a very pleasant stay. "

"The interior of the house is comfortable, light and airy, with windows that look out on the lake. Exerior needs some work, washing machines underground, area could use some clean up. Lost running water for a day due to problem with pump, owner on it immediately. Location was terrific, about halfway between Rhinebeck and the Massachusetts border. Good walks in beautiful countryside."

"The three of us really enjoyed our stay at this pretty, well-appointed house. It had everything we needed, beds were super comfortable, living room was a great place to sit and talk together at the end of a long day. We should have lit a fire, and used the hot tub - not enough time in our schedule!"

"We had a wonderful time together. We really enjoyed the peaceful quiet surroundings, the large spacious deck, the beautiful view over the lake at sunset. The kids had a great time kayaking on the lake and sitting by the fire pit after dark. The pool air \ hockey table was a big hit as well. "Lovely home. Beautiful views of the surrounding area. Very homey. Comforable.. Very convenient to the wedding venue (Stissing Restaurant). I confess that the extensive taxidermy collection was a bit more pronounced than shown in the pictures, but we got used to it and then it was part of the charm. "

"We stayed in this house last year and liked it so much we went back again. Three of us stayed very comfortably - two of us sharing a room with the twin beds, and the 3rd getting her own big bed. We spent time sitting around the kitchen table as well as hanging out in the living room. We had everything we needed, very easy and cozy. The countryside around is gorgeous, with the leaves changing colors. And the peacocks coming to visit is a bonus! Note that the house is a bit hard to find on the...
