They did a great job renovating it and the whole place was impeccably clean and had everything I could think of. There were lots of hiking opportunities in the area that we took advantage of, too. "1890s Elegant mansion with great bones and almost completely restored. Pool would be big plus in summer and game room definitely a plus, though some equipment needed repair. Great location for our short family reunion of 6 adults and 3 tweens. Would worry about kids less than 10 or limited mobility folks as stairs quite tight or spirally and high. "We enjoyed a lovely long weekend at this beautiful waterfront cabin. We went cross country skiing at Lapland (10 minute car ride) and snow mobile riding in Speculator (30 minute car ride). The weather was perfect and the cabin could not have been nicer. Clean, cozy, organized, perfect!"

"Everything was new and clean. Conveniently located in / near Caroga Town. Easy to get in and out of the cabin. Appreciated the extra set of instructions / cabin information to check throughout out, and selection of board games. "

"Secluded location, just like the name of the property says. Large spaces for family to gather, but also enough bedrooms and space throughout the house for us and our three adult children to have some privacy. We loved exploring the trails on the property and the frequent wildlife sightings (deer and turkeys!) Many small towns nearby for exploring - shopping, paved walking/hiking/biking trails, groceries and restaurants. If you're up for a longer drive, Lake George and Lake Placid are farther...
