"Nice quiet get away place. Beautiful porch that opens from your room to sit and enjoy a sunset or start the day with coffee and a sunrise looking out over the lake. Rooms are good size and comfortable. Amenities were available as needed. Highly recommend!"

"We had a lovely one week stay at the Waterline Cottage at ZoLa House. It was the perfect relaxed vacation to celebrate my husband’s retirement and for me to recharge and be ready to go back to school and teach for another year.The cottage was just the right size for the 2 us and had everything we needed including laundry facilities and a cute little dishwasher to minimize chores. "

We were in town for Ironman Lake Placid and moving a bit slowly on checkout day, and David kindly allowed us a late checkout. "Our stay at the ZaLo Manor was terrific! It was a great place to call home while we visited relatives from Plattsburgh. The views were amazing from the deck, bedrooms & lawn.It had everything we needed. Made a family spaghetti dinner one night, beautiful cookware provided & lots of laughs with board games. "All around 5 stars great! Ample boats, provided firewood, gas grill in good shape, games in shed, large lawn for sports, well stocked kitchen. Minor improvements: could not find more bar soaps and WiFi was wrong in welcome email (but placard next to TV was correct!). Will stay again. Thank you!"

"House was updated , clean and lovely decorated. Fully equipped with towels and linen. Spacious kitchen. New refrigerator. Quiet area, ,nestled in mountains, attractuve exterior. Only 18 minutes from Ausable Chasm. Only have to carefully look foir house number on highway, somewhat hidden in a bush. Owner was very responsive and helpful. "
