Nice selection of complementary drinks throughout the stay. Comfortable room/bed. It was quiet while we were there but able to hear people walking and talking in the hallway. Overall nice stay. "We had an absolutely amazing time staying in Shannon’s “Home Away From Home”! We were in town for a graduation ceremony and this was the perfect choice! There are a lot of thoughtful touches that show that the hosts really went the extra mile. The beds are large and very very comfortable. "Very comfortable and cozy for our family, with many separate spaces as well as plenty of room to gather. Huge kitchen, wonderful deck with hot tub, fireplace, and tables, and lovely bedrooms. David's VRBO is prefect for any family get together and the description and accommodations were spot on."

"Perfect location to stay for an event at the Valcour Inn. Best suited for 1 couple with a child or 2. Tight fit for 2 couples - consider the larger house.If bringing a dog - do let them know in advance (I didn’t realize they needed to be notified in advance of the dog as the post said pet friendly.)Also, expect drop-bys from the owner with his children as you checkin and an hour before you checkout. "Was not able to access the home due to no prior contact or response from the host. Sadly had to call VRBO , which after being on hold for well over an hour did refund us. Check in was at 3 and at 6:10 the same day received email from VRBO stating host cancelled our stay due to not meeting age requirements of 19 years old - not only am I 58 , the rest of the party was over 19 as well - never were we asked to prove this and disappointed to hear this is why host never contacted us . "Perfect size house for large group or multi family accommodation. Host was very responsive and courteous. The mountain setting and views were amazing. The younger family members really enjoyed the game and exercise room. Others enjoyed the walking trails and nature walks. The house is impeccable, the owners provided very specific and clear instructions for our arrival and were almost immediate in response to a question we had regarding the basement television. The house is fully equipped with anything you might need, and the basement with pool table was perfect for us to enjoy an evening in with our teenage sons.
