"Understandably this is a very old hotel but it has really gotten rundown. We're sure, it was grand hotel in it's day. Our room was River front, we should of looked at other's pictures in the Reviews before booking our stay. Our room and halls smelled of Must and furniture for the most part in very poor shape. Our room's River front balcony was full of mold on balcony rails and a caulking mixed with cement, where there were holes in the balcony ceiling. The WORST part was we came back to the...

"Best view you can get. We booked a two bed suite on the first floor in the corner overlooking the harbour and the castle. Best location in town. Right next to the ferry to Boldt Castle. Really convenient. Really helpful staff. Cute little town. "

"Rock Ledge motel was very close to Alexandria Bay for walking and catching tours. Pet friendly is always a concern and our pup was welcome here. I love the charm of older establishments, and appreciate the hard work it takes to maintain and improve them. The room was spacious and clean. We rented a king bedrooom. It provided all that we expected for an older motel. The staff was friendly. The area felt safe and quiet when we stayed there 3 nights in September."

"This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay on Wellesley Island, NY. Tanya is a wonderful host - very responsive. We stayed 2 nights (Husband, wife & 18 y/o son). We really enjoyed the snack basket the host left for us - a very nice and thoughtful touch! The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need to cook meals. We actually used the outside grill on the amazing outdoor deck to cook burgers one night. Although we don't drink coffee or tea, there is a very well-stocked area...
