"Staff was rude. You felt like you were inconveniencing them when you walked through the door. As soon as you walk to the main entrance, it smells like cigarettes. The lobby was dirty. We walked into our room. It smelt like a litter box. We checked out immediately and the front desk thought my reasons were ridiculous. “ that’s the one room that’s never had a cat in it.”👎👎"

"There was a liquid soap dispenser that didn't work and it fell off the wall. It was hanging on a screw. There were two tiny bottles, one shampoo and one conditioner. There were two of us, so we didn't take a shower the next morning. The air conditioner wouldn't turn on. When we checked out, the lady told us there was a button at the bottom of the unit we should've turned on. How could we have known about it? There weren't many TV stations to watch and at check-out, I heard two other guests...

"Very nice lady at the farm;) However - This treehouse is not “spacious”, it is a very small room with no curtains. There is a ladder to climb a very steep climb to get into the bed, you have to crawl from the end as there is no room around the bed. They must have built the loft around the bed. In fact, it is not a bedroom…just an opening up the ladderto the bed. There will s only one very small sink that serves as the bathroom and kitchen sink with no counter space in either “location” they are...

"It was a great property and good location. Other than the fridge there was no storage space for food. The beds were very comfortable. It was well stocked for necessities. The mildew or sanitation smell was overwhelming, I bought plug in fragrances to cover the smell. Overall it was great, everything you need for a stay at the lake. The host was always very friendly and responsive, we didn’t need to contact him at all for the stay"

"This location in Stafford Springs is a hidden gem if you love a beautiful private cabin in the woods but still close enough to town. Plenty of space for both my family and my brother’s family; having 5 kids and 2 dogs running around.It was the perfect spot for us to unwind after our event during the day. "This is a real gem of a find! I loved our stay here. GPS does take you to the back of the building but it’s located next to a large parking lot. Plenty of parking which was great for us because we have an extended cab f350 ford that does not fit into most parking spaces. "The house was exactly as advertised and more. The lake view was very nice. Although it’s not the season to use the lake we did take a very short walk down there. The proximity to the lake would make it amazing in season. The host was wonderful to work with. He was very responsive to my messages and checked in after we got there to make sure everything was good. He thought of every little detail that we needed for our 4 night stay.
