"Cute little hotel on the edge of town. Was very surprised based on the price didn’t expect very much. But the room was clean comfortable and very sunny which was lovely in the morning with the sunshine stream in. Easy walk to town, town is not very long. There was one restaurant option in town a Thai and two pub options we went to the Thai. Food was fresh delicious and very inexpensive. Lady at check-in was very friendly and was full of helpful advice. She recommended the Thai and also...

"We were welcomed with a warm smile upon check-in, and given a much appreciated run-down of both dining and supermarket facilities within the town. Everything felt easy and our only regret was not having more time to spend at Tenterfield. Room had everything we need and although slightly older, was clean and comfortable. We will be back again!!"

"A lovely spot to stay for a mini break. Rooms are comfortable and ultra clean. Staff are helpful. easy parking for your car. Situated in the centre of town. The dining room is nice with good options on the menu. What I didn’t like was that we had only just begun our entree when they brought out the main meal. This meant they sat on the pass again for too long making the meals suboptimal."

"We had a wonderful stay at Donegal Horse & Farmstay, even though we already live on a farm, staying somewhere peaceful, clean and with lots of space was just lovely. The amenities were great and exactly as hoped. Our hosts were friendly and hospitable. The kids especially loved visiting the animals and vegie garden. We highly recommend this accommodation, especially for those travelling with pets and/or children."

"I was travelling with a 17 year old dog and she could sleep inside with me. The cabin had an ensuite and a small deck with table and chairs. Also there was a coffee van who made very nice coffee. Very pleased with the property."

"We wanted somewhere quiet surrounded by nature and this house was perfect for that.The three of us are in our 70’s and the Off Grid system was a bit challenging but we read everything and managed.For us, we wouldn’t rent this great place in summer or winter due to the limitations using air con. It sleeps six but if there were six, there’s no storage in 2nd bedroom at all. No towel hooks or rails in bathroom for hanging more than one towel. For the three of us it was great, but for a full house...

"A very new and quite well setup off-grid tiny-home - you have to be in it for the experience, this is a minimalist setup - you cant have all the creature comforts. A beautiful peaceful spot, plenty of wildlife and "overly" friendly cows visit you at the fire pit. An experience I can reccomend. Deepwater may be small, but the brewery, cafe and pubs are worth visiting"

"There were 3 rooms and that suited us. It was my husband I plus our 7 year old and my mum so we each had our own space. On hand was everything you’d possibly need for your stay. Our personal favourite was the bird feeder out the back with extra seed under the sink. This was a big hit with our daughter. It was summer when we stayed and there’s no a/c but with windows and assorted fans it wasn’t at all problematic. Add in a bunny sighting and these Queenslanders were well pleased. Very convenient...
