"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Total relaxation with great service & amazing food. The route had us worried a bit bcuz it over a hill you couldn’t see from the freeway but it was a different world upon arrival. We ordered tostadas de ceviche & it was 🔥. Rooms are clean, very private & secluded. Staff is always ready to cater to you."

"The motel, because that’s what it is, is getting rundown. They renovated part of the motel and charge extra to book in the renovated rooms. For Expedia customers, they told me that they’re placed in the old, un-renovated rooms. The WiFi sucked in these rooms, my AC unit was falling apart. It did work, but smelled funny and had parts coming off. The staff is made up of college age kids who are less than helpful sometimes. I prefer El Dorado when I stay in Tecate to this place, but it was sold out"

It did not come with a hairdryer, phone, nor an iron or ironing board.And no phone means you walk downstairs to the lobby for any help or questions. So I walked to the lobby to ask for an iron. They handed me an iron and ironing board and asked that I return them when I'm done using them. So there I go walking back upstairs with them. "A great spot to stay for two nights while we did the 16 mile Goat Trestle Bridge hike. Comfortable, clean, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. The grounds are wonderful with hiking trails, pools, hot tub, and a fun bar / restaurant. Would definitely reccomend and would stay again. "
