"My wife and I really enjoyed the stay. It's close to downtown Tazewell, but far enough out of town that you feel like you're out in the mountains far from civilization. It's a quaint, new-ish wooden cabin with everything we needed for a couple days away. There's no TV, but honestly we didn't miss it, and it was nice to not mindlessly flip on the screen during downtime. I'd go back again for sure when traveling that way."

This location was perfect, conveniently a block or so off of the main street but the trees and landscaping made it feel remote and secluded. "We spent a night on our way down the east coast. Such a great place to stop to allow space for our dog to stretch after a long day of driving. "We loved visiting Tazwell this weekend. This carriage house is conveniently near food, coffee and everything else. The Grounds were beautiful with many wildlife sittings. My wife enjoyed all the deer visitors. We would definitely stay again."

"I loved every minute of my stay here, except for getting in the front door. It was terribly hard to get the door open, so I started using the back door. I absolutely loved being here, and it had all of the historical charm I was expecting. It's too bad I was here on a Saturday night and nothing was open on Sunday to do, that's the only downfall."
