"From the picture, the property is actually smaller, there is no bbq grill so cooking becomes a problem if you want to cook meet. The running water was turned on hours after we arrived, and no Hot water at all. Makes taking a shower on rainy days a drag. Not enough pillows or the proper kitchen utensils. And trash was not picked enough, because I was told to put it under the house when full, so wild stray dogs would tear into the bags and drag trash all over yard. They need to get lidded trash...

"The house was unexpectedly nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the cool (unheated) but not cold, jacuzzi pool after a long hot day in Manuel Antonio park. This is a nice place, but they really, really, need to let folks know that this place is very remote and the road is very bad. Great if you want to bring everything and just stay there, but it is a 45 minute drive on bad, unlit roads to come or go from the lodge. We could see several places where the hillside had given way into the road and one...

"Lovely stay at the Gaia Hotel. The location is ideal and the staff was very helpful. The restaurant was excellent and accommodated my gluten issue. Gorgeous sunset views from the bar at the top of the resort. Because the resort ascends up the hill, there are lots of stone tile steps that can be tricky to navigate. Watch your step. Be sure to tour Manuel Antonio National Park (reserve a ticket in advance) and go to the swimmable beach in the park. The beach closest to the resort has strong...
