"Loved the outside patio area with fire ring. Very nice and relaxing. Gym good for hotel. Pool clean, but on the small side. Quiet clean room, didn't get woken up once with noise. Had everything you want! Breakfast ok, had waffle maker, eggs, cereal, breads some fruit, alternating bacon and sausage, and prepackaged biscuit sandwiches. All in all, very nice."

"We really enjoyed the Statler for an anniversary getaway. The whole experience was great—the location is prime for Staunton’s downtown, the common areas of the house were well appointed and well stocked with various treats, the room was very spacious and comfortable, and they are very thoughtful about providing what you need to have a great stay. It is a historic house, so be prepared for creaky floors and for sound to bounce around the house in strange ways. But, again, they provided a sound...

"While the property is lovely and the stay has been nice, I will say that the information provided before finalizing the booking was missing pertinent information. There was no mention of the two sets of stairs at the front entrance. There was no mention of receiving a code for entry to property until after I booked a non-refundable booking. I had sent a query to the property but did not receive an answer before booking later the same day (the day of arrival). I did book through a third...

"This property is stunningly beautiful. A wedding venue with lovely lodging. Super comfortable bed in a nice room. Nothing negative to say. We were the only couple in the building until about bedtime and someone else came in. We heard them arrive to the room next door, and no noise after that. The town of Staunton is also a sweet, contemporary mountain town. Do stay here if you get the chance. "

"Not wanting a stuffy hotel we opted for an apartment type rental. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Having a couch to feel at home to watch TV made our stay homey. Absolutely loved the decor with a theme throughout the place. I love the charm of the old homes and this one didn’t disappoint. If I get back to Staunton I will definitely stay here! "

"Just park your car and walk to see Staunton Historic District. The rental was AWESOME!!!! Just like the pictures. Nice neighborhood.
