" We stayed in a Suite with balcony at The Grand Superior Lodge for two nights - and could have spent longer. Perfect for relaxing on Lake Superior. We could have used laundry facilities, but the hotel referred to the town nearby, Two Harbour."

For our 5 night stay we received NO housekeeping at all, even after specifically requesting housekeeping 3 days in a row. On the 3rd request they asked if our do not disturb sign was out and at no point during our stay did we put out the do not disturb sign. On our 3rd day we ran out of body wash and when I requested body wash at the front desk, we were told to use the shampoo because they didn’t...

"This is definitely for budget minded travelers who don’t need anything fancy. The property is kept very neat and tidy, decorated nicely, and has a pool, hot tub, and little arcade room, nice for kiddos. Coffee is on all the time. The beds and pillows were comfy, shower was hot and strong. Rooms have TV, fridge, and microwave. Towels are small but ok. I cannot say the room was clean though. I wiped down one wall that should have never gotten by housekeeping. These old motels have been used...

"I paid extra to stay lake side. But you can’t really see the lake on the 2nd floor. The hotel itself is old. Kind of run down. The breakfast is mediocre at best. The rooms are small, bathrooms are very small. Staff are interesting. Check in guy was nice but odd. Breakfast guy was kind of rude. The only thing I really liked was it was easy to get to from downtown and there are multiple fast food places near including a coffee shop. I would not stay here again, especially not for the price I paid."
