"everything have met all our expectations"

"Wonderful view, great to have a balcony, and underground parking a plus! It wouldn’t take much to make this an excellent stay with a few nice and easy touches added. For the price, an extra bar of soap ( we had 1 for 3 nights), added toilet paper ( we had 1 and partial roll) written instructions for the fireplace, temp control, tv, ( challenging for even the tech savvy) and bathrobes would have been welcomed. Amenities noted in the Lobby ( popcorn and doughnuts) seemed to be missing all 4-5x...

"This is a great place to stay in Duluth! Not only does it have beautiful views, but the walkability to nearby restaurants, bars, activities, etc was excellent. The playground, indoor pool and hot tub was great because we were traveling with a child. We were really impressed with the breakfast options and they even had a Smores bar in the evenings! I will definitely stay here again when visiting Duluth."

"Lake view and breakfst"

"Great place i would recommend this place."

"Superior Shores is coming under new management and their advertising says “new energy coming”. I look forward to that. Everything was adequate, but the whole place has been well visited and used. It needs some buffing up, and I’m guessing that’s what new ownership has in mind. That being said, we had a quiet room, a beautiful lake front to visit, and we had all the basics we needed."

"Ceiling in our bathroom was water stained and cracked in corner by the shower. Toilet is super low to the ground, has major flushing ability but you better stand back or you will get a shower. We still had towels hanging on hook in our bathroom from previous person who stayed. My guess is they did not see those when cleaning. Called front desk and they took care of it immediately. All in all was an ok stay for the night."

" We stayed in a Suite with balcony at The Grand Superior Lodge for two nights - and could have spent longer. Perfect for relaxing on Lake Superior. We could have used laundry facilities, but the hotel referred to the town nearby, Two Harbour."

"Very dirty and disgusting. Rooms outdated and definitely not kept up. Black hairs all over the shower, big black stains on our pillows, gross dirty floors. Lobby smelled like weed and the hallways smelled like smoke. Would not ever stay here again. Very bad experience, would not recommend."

"Unfortunately, we were pretty disappointed with our stay this weekend. The rooms were clean, but the walls were so thin we could hear entire conversations in the room next to us, and doors slamming throughout the night actually shook our room. Dinner was also disappointing. My food was extremely overcooked and I barely ate it. Our server agreed there was an issue and offered to take a portion off the bill. Then, while we were paying, he said, “I would’ve taken the whole thing off,” and kind of...

"very nice and quiet location. clean with helpful staff. we would stay here again"

"Great place and affordable! Well maintained.. lots of character!"

"Beautiful front and back, great location, staff was excellent. The only things I found interesting were the mattresses were ready to be replaced as well as the television. Would definitely stay again!"
