"Always friendly. Rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. Glass enclosed pool is beautiful. Lawn games, fire pit, outdoor seating are wonderful. Billiards room den is beautiful. Third party empliyees are very friendly and helpful, BUT the food quality is very poor, and disappointing. Not just once, but every time we stay, (multiple times a year) since Varsity Club was bought out. If included in the room, it is less painful to swallow, but paying for it is out of the question! "I had added an extra day onto my trip with Expedia, received an email receipt confirming the extra night, etc. For some reason, the hotel was not notified and expected me to check out a day early. Me showing them the updated reservation dates, as well as calls between Expedia and the hotel didn't resolve anything. The front desk said there were NO rooms available, so I had to check out immediately (no apologies for the inconveniences, etc.). As I'm checking out downstairs, my friend checks...

"The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was dirty, sheets were stained, and the place smelled of smoke even though a non-smoking room. The building itself was in disrepair and needed a lot of work. I have stayed at many Comfort Inn & Suites. This was not one I will recommend. "

"The room was clean but very outdated. Staff was nice and welcoming. But there was a gross food smell emanating from the whole place and the rooms smelled stale. It was a fine place to have a spend the night bc of an emergency, but I wouldn’t book it for a vacation."

"Friendly staff. Room was clean Free Continental breakfast to start day was good. Convenient to the Notre Dame campus. Lights behind bed didn't work. Could use a bit of a refreshing. When fixes are done, a customer can tell that they were done quickly and most likely by a staff who may not know what a customer probably notices."

Staff at check in and check out were rude, "busy" despite no other guests being present, didn’t even offer token courtesies.
