"This is in an idyllic forest setting. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fun and tasty. There is parking outside and across the road. WiFi is great. It's the opposite of quiet but the noises are rainforest sounds and cattle, which is restful in a different way. The rooms are pretty basic and a little tired but have everything you need. It's convenient for the airport and river but there is no hiking near to the property. "

"We stayed at the Banyan cottage and it was lovely. Up on a hill, very private. It had screens so no need to worry about bugs. The cooking area was nicely done so that you could cook breakfast easily. The property is gorgeous and you really feel like you're in the middle of the rainforest by yourself. Very relaxing. "We stayed one night as it was close to the airport and we knew we’d be arriving in the dark. The hostess and her family were so lovely and welcoming. We arrived later than expected and though we had not reserved a dinner meal the hostess graciously made us some sandwiches. The breakfast was delicious. We would stay here again in a heart beat. This place is a gem."

"I enjoyed my stay at Roxy's. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The property is lovely and has a nice garden full of local fruits. Valerie was really sweet to us, we had some nice conversations. The chef also made really tasty food! We came for the WCMF and Roxy was only 20 minutes away from the venue. It's also a short walk away from titou gorge."

"AMAZING! Nichi could not have been more friendly or helpful. One of a kind place and host. Beautiful place, inside and out, with tons of character. We even saw humpback whales from the deck that overlooks the bay. Incredible location, complete with a private swimming hole, friendly neighbors who gave me a fist bump on my morning walks, and a delicious fish meal provided by Nichi on our first night. We didn't want to leave this unique place and island."

"The cabin was incredibly unique and well maintained. We truly enjoyed our stay here. Nicki was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Would recommend. There are not a lot of food options in the village (closest being Roseau) but the kitchen is very well equipped. Bring groceries and plan to make your own meals. Bring a car with adequate clearance to handle the road."

"Premium location in Roseau at a very charming hotel. The rooms were very spacious. If any inconvenience should be mentioned it is that our room was very oldfashioned with large curtains instead of windows and that the bathroom had a noisy ventilator and poor lightning. That does, however, not change the overall impression of a very nice hotel in a very nice location in the Capital of the best Island in the entire Caribbean. They also have better rooms at higher prices, and the Price was indeed...

"I have now been staying at Fort Young a good handful of times and it is always a pleasure to visit. The rooms have been done up since my last visit and some sort of construction was still going on outside but not disturbing. In general a great stay as always but avoid they breakfast. The morning staff in the restaurant is letting the hotel down. Service is below the usual standard and the buffet consists of lots of empty trays...you'll be lucky to fill your plate. This happened every morning...early or late."
