"Beautiful serene property right off the ocean and a river. The ocean is not a beach for swimming but the resort has a pool. Peaceful lush environment. An amazing staff all around. Sernita was very friendly and always went out of her way to satisfy our needs. Ellen was very knowledgeable about the island’s plants and allowed us to harvest to make our own unique teas. "My two adult children and I enjoyed a comfortable stay in two private bedrooms of the home of the gentleman that owns and lives in the advertised property. He was a kind host, graciously welcoming us when we arrived far too late in the evening and waking before 5am to see us off for our early morning departure. The bed I shared with my adult daughter was the most comfortable I slept on during our entire trip. My only concern is that Vrbo had advertised this property to us as an "Entire Home"...

"Anchorage Hotel is a great place to stay, close to Roseau. We ate breakfast next door at Ocean Edge restaurant, and we bought a few groceries at Green's Supermarket up the road as you go toward Wallhouse community. Our room had an electric tea kettle and coffee supplies and a small frig. Staff here are very friendly and helpful. We also appreciated having parking just off the street for our rental car."
