"Property is very nice. A short walk to a playground by the lake. One block to a nice Mexican Restaurant and one block to a coffee house and a very awesome barber shop where my great grandson got his first haircut. We found out later that his dad had his very first haircut there too. Enjoyed the comfy beds."

"Everything was great. My only complaint and don’t want to even say complaint is that it is tight getting our large fishing boat in and out of the drive. There was not enough space to turn it around. Our kids had a larger home booked at the same time so we were able to park the boat at their rental. "

"The place is cozy and fit our needs. It is off of some dirt roads, so be cautious when driving. The place was very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch drinking coffee in the morning. Our host was easy to get in touch with and responded quickly to any question we had. We found a market (Kinfolk) just outside where we were staying; highly recommend you visit it!"

"This property is in a very secluded area so i recommend driving in the first time during the day. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable but the master bed as very tall so it was difficult as a senior citizen to get into., but i slept well. I would stay here again if the need arises. "

"This cabin is the perfect place to get away from it all, but in comfy conditions. We enjoyed breakfast and evenings looking at the lake and seeing turtles, birds, cranes, a bald eagle, and fish! The cabin has everything you need for a comfy stay. You are only a few mies from town, but it seems like you are further than that. Definitely pick up groceries in town because you will not want to leave to shop. I wish we had time to eat / shop at the Rustic Duck beside it, but time just not permit...

"Beautiful setting on Appleton City Lake. Cottages are right on the lake and it was fun to wake up to the mist rising from the lake, rooster crowing in the distance. Later enjoy sitting in the sunshine and watching the ducks and sparrows on the lake, also heard some cows mooing. Just enjoy the fresh country air! Rustic Duck restaurant was very accommodating too. "

"I was in town for a couple days while working an event at Lucas Oil Speedway and had the pleasure to stay at this peaceful, quaint cabin. The cabin had everything I needed for my stay. Everything was really comfortable, including the bedding. I elected not to cook anything while I was there, and instead picked up some dinner from the Rustic Spoon right around the corner, but if I had needed to, everything was there to prepare a meal.
