"Everything was easy about our stay: the location was ideal to pop over to the VIC for some XC skiing; kitchen was adequately set with pans, tools, etc.; easy trips to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid for restaurants.The big surprise was the AMAZING sunrise views of Whiteface and the MacKenzie Mountains."

"This recently renovated hotel is a gem, perfectly located near both Lake Placid (12 minutes) and Whiteface (5 minutes). The modern upgrades provide a comfortable and cozy stay, while the kind, attentive, and accessible manager (Keith) who goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcome (including upgrading our room, helping us make reservations for dinner and offering rides). A fantastic choice for convenience and excellent service!"

"We originally booked for 3 nights, but loved it so much we extended our stay 2 extra nights. Host was flexible in working with us to negotiate pricing for the extra time. Very responsive, friendly and helpful! Perfect cozy cabin for our family of 5. Cleanliness could’ve been better but nothing major. Microwave handle was broken and legs on the couch were too, didn’t stop our family from having a great time though! Would 100% stay again! "

"This isn't a luxury room in the sense of being new/updated with a lot of space. The main area is dated, but it has everything you need and an updated bath area and it's a great location if you are in Wilmington for something. We were there for the Whiteface uphill bike race. Meg seemed available to help although we didn't need anything."

"This was my first hiking trip in the Adirondacks and this little house was just perfect for my visit. All the comforts of home from the welcoming living room to the nicely stocked kitchen to the beautiful outdoor setting. Very quiet neighborhood in the woods but easy to get to the places I wanted to explore. About a 20 minute drive to Lake Placid. Enjoyed the gas fireplace! Can’t wait to come back next fall because there is so much to do in this area! "
