"Absolutely amazing! The best hotel ever! Traveling with my family and we had concerns about the “option free clothing”-pool, but it’s on the other side of the road and you can choose to go or not. Everybody’s so kind and welcoming."

"Cottages by the Sea er en fantastisk lille perle på en fantastisk strand lidt uden for Frederiksted. Byen synes sovende, pittoresk med både istandsatte bygninger og forfaldne huse. Bygninger der går tilbage til kolonitiden og den gamle danske lutheranske kirke med få gamle gravsted med danske navne bl.a.Frederik von Scholten. Eneste mangel er indkøbsmulighed på stedet. Der skal køres efter dagligvarer."

"This is the 3rd condo we've stayed at in this small (18 units) complex called Harbour Beach Village. It is a second floor corner unit and without a doubt the best one we've stayed in. We are booked again in 2026. The 4 stars for cleanliness were because we observed several areas that could have been cleaned better. We provided feedback to the Host, Theo and he was glad to receive the information. The pictures on the HBV website definitely convey the interior of the unit."

"This unit is a large one bedroom with a tremendous balcony looking over the beach and ocean (top floor). From my experience, this unit is unique in a couple of different ways. "The Palms is a clean hotel located right on the Caribbean not too far from Christiansted. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel has some extra features like free snorkling equipment. Two special things characterize the hotel: extremely friendly management and staff who go out of their way to help you and a lot of arranged activities. You get the feeling that this is more than a hotel, but also a gathering place for many on and off the island."

En stor udfordring er dog at ALT bliver låst af kl. 10 PM og først låst op kl. 8.00 AM og personalet i receptionen beder en om at lægge nøglerne på bordet i værelset, hvis man checker ud før kl. 8.00 AM. Det betyder, at man ikke kan komme ud fra området og skal ned på stranden og langs med denne for at komme ud på vejen, hvor taxaen holder."

"Fantastic hotel. We returned after 20 years (now with kids of 9 and 13) and had again a fantastic vacation at The Buccaneer. The beaches, pool and tennis courts are very nice and a very serviceminded staff made our stay unforgettable. Love the place and will be returning."
