"A perfectly pleasant hotel, if a little generic, What it lacked in atmosphere as a place, was lifted by the helpful, friendly and cheerful staff, who went out of their way to make us feel at home."

"OK so ..parking was good but tight .. To me the restaurant is in the wrong location..would have liked it if it was on the main floor where breakfast is served so you could have a view over the sea front while having you main meal ..rather than down below ground level .. sorry but the prices are a little high .. drink .starter .main ..half pint coke ..pate ..fish chips and peas for £32. 00 is high sorry that's my thoughts ..food was nice but still .. staff are a credit to the hotel."

"Brilliant cheap and cheerful stay couldn’t have asked for more. In great location we’re only in the hotel to sleep and it was comfy!"

"The Boathouse (or to people like me who haven’t been in Norfolk for 15 odd years - the former Eels Foot) is a fantastic location for short or longer stays, with the broads, Great Yarmouth, Norwich and north Norfolk all easily reachable from here. The pub / restaurant is beautiful, and serves excellent food. Breakfast is a-la-carte and is excellent for the price. Mike, the proprietor, is a great host and was extremely helpful in helping us to plan the remaining days of our trip. Highly recommend!"

"Hyggelig restaurant og lounge og fantastisk beliggenhed. Værelset var så smalt at jeg ikke ville kunne ligge på tværs af det. Udsugningen fra køkkenet som var monteret lige udenfor vinduet gav en mærkelig lugt i værelset og madrassen døde vist for mange år siden. "
