"The property offers sizeable rooms, has an on site dining option (food was very good), and offered pickup and drop off from the local airport. It's a about a half mile to the center of Sitka which has the majority of the shopping and dining options. Overall we found the staff friendly and helpful and the pickup and drop off made Longliner Lodge a great choice for your visit to Sitka"

"We loved our stay at Candace’s place! The location was ideal, making it easy to explore the area, and the space itself felt like home- cozy, spotless, and inviting. Candace was an outstanding host who went above and beyond, with excellent communication and incredible flexibility. I highly recommend booking with Candace!"

"I was allowed an early check-in, which was fantastic in that I was in pain and needed a place to rest. The only down side was that I had some questions for the desk clerk and she was never at the front. I checked back 4 times within a foot hour stretch and no one was ever there. "

"It was really nice to be out of town a little. The road traffic was loud in the evenings but didn’t keep us awake. Just as described. "

"Excellent in every way! Perfect location-easy walks to everything. Very convenient. Beautiful place with terrific views of the water/harbor/boats coming and going. Very comfortable, safe, friendly place and town. Laundry worked well. Food: Beak for dinner twice, Highliner for coffee, bagels, breakfast sandwiches 4 times, Wildflower Bakery. Highly recommend! Katy and Jack have a great VRBO-stay there if you are in Sitka!"

"The home was extremely comfortable and very cute inside. The kitchen was equipped with a Keurig and a welcome box of snacks. The property also had bikes for use during our stay with helmets, locks and a pump available. Home was only a 10-15 min walk from restaurants and the main sights of Sitka. We would definitely stay here again. "
