"Super convenient location to go up or down island. We used car rental option and had three great extra days in Sitka. Nothing fancy but excellent welcome, communication and local insights. "

"Forget-Me-Not Inn met my expectations and was a very comfortable location (if you have a car). It is not really walkable from downtown, but the Ride bus Red Line does have a station just a couple minutes away (walking) and runs once an hour. My only complaint is that I sent the manager two separate messages through the App with questions have not received a response to either of the messages. "

"The place was very clean and nice. But here’s my suggestions. The tub drain is very slow. The door hinges and locks need greased and adjusted. You need to put trash bags in the apartment and maybe some storage containers for leftover food."

"I was allowed an early check-in, which was fantastic in that I was in pain and needed a place to rest. The only down side was that I had some questions for the desk clerk and she was never at the front. I checked back 4 times within a foot hour stretch and no one was ever there. "

It was the perfect place to call home during our six days in Sitka. If I ever emailed the host with a question, I received an immediate response. I didn't have many questions because the Host has a binder with everything you need to know about the property and great recommendations for what to do and where to eat in Sitka. "Very uneventful. The power went out, which is common in small communities of Alaska, for a short period and the owner immediately contacted me to let me know what to expect. It came back on almost as fast as it shut off and life moved on. Very enjoyable stay."

"I was a little concerned on arrival as to what to expect as it appeared odd location. Pleasantly surprised to find it was very clean, good beds and nice amenities. Plus the location was next to Pizza and Brewery with a gas station -store right next door. Easy to get cab to town or even walkable."

"The community buses don’t run on the weekend!! I didn’t have a car so was on foot for much of it and there is no Uber or Lyft in town. Taxi service is available, but I goofed up and thought I could get in and out of town via the bus… And you can Monday through Friday just not on the weekends! If you have your own car/transportation, this place is fantastic. Highly recommended!!!"

"What a wonderful VRBO! My husband and I absolutely LOVED staying in the Eagle Suite and watching bald eagles, ravens, otters, fish, and more right outside our window! If we wanted a better look, we just went outside and explored. Forget-Me-Not is about a 12min drive from downtown Sitka so you get to see and hear more wild life away from the cruise crowd.
