"This is a fabulous property in a spectacular setting! Stay here if you can. It has every possible amenity, from the down blankets for sitting around the fire pit to many, many games. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils you will need. Beds super comfortable. For those staying in the off, off season as we did, bring your food with you. "The friendly hosts and the elaborate, tasty breakfast were the highlights of our stay here. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower set-up on the clawfoot tub reminded us of our first home and were fine, but a grab bar to help getting out would be helpful. The gardens were pleasant. The outside of the building was a bit tired and worn looking; I'm sure upkeep on such a large, historic building is tough."
