"The place is very old. The door to our room was hard to open and the lock was questionable. The walls were very thin and the bed was terrible."

"Absolutely horrible. Mold, bugs, smoke smell, live wires, stains, graffiti, holes in the wall. NOT AS DESCRIBED. we immediately walked out of there and asked for a refund. They said they couldn’t give us a refunded because “the owner is a scammer.” Couldn’t even set our stuff down in there."

"Super quiet nestled next to a beautiful park, we spent an evening feeding the ducks and geese, the cottage had everything you could need to feel like home, the hosts were kind enough to leave plenty of phone chargers strategically placed, I don't think we even had to use our own, roku TV so plenty of viewing options, just a nice quiet place to stay"

"I stayed for two nights and it suited my needs perfectly. Some drivers may have a little difficulty starting up the gravel driveway, but it wasn’t an issue for me. The deck and seclusion were my favorite things about the property. "

"This is by far the nastiest property I have ever had the displeasure of staying at. The room smelled like moldy dogs, there were dead flys everywhere and the mattress cover stains from God knows what. Lucky I was on camping trip so I had river shoes to walk around room, and sleeping bag that I used to sleep on top of covers. I only got the room because of heavy rain storm, If given the choice next time I’ll sleep outside in the rain. At least I know what I’ll be facing. "

"It was a memorable and wonderful time. As in any loft, headspace can be a challenge. I am 5’8” tall and I bumped my head several times in the bathroom. The bedroom was spacious with no restrictions on headspace. The entire property setting was understated by the owner. The property is beautiful and relaxing."

Wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of the kayaks.FYI- this was our first time visiting Mena and riding the trails at Wolf Pen. This was my mistake not confirming mileage to trail head but it’s far! About 15 miles and having to drive on two highways. We didn’t feel comfortable so we decided to haul our SxS to the trailhead instead each day. "
