"First, “ host” never sent any messsges; never responded to any of my emails. The place was already occupied, despite my having a confirmation! The property outside was overgrown, empty bottles/trash spread everywhere. Outdoor cats roaming on property. Current occupants allowed me to come in. The inside was very dirty, mess all over floor. "Very unique experience in a wonderful locations but a few asterisks.There is no plumbing en suite, which we were aware of, but the bathhouse (clean) is a good 100 yards away. Not ideal for middle-of-the-night wakeups or if your ability to get around is compromised. It got very cold overnight and unfortunately the fireplace would not switch on. The batteries in the remote were probably the culprit, but this didn't help make us any warmer. The staff was very nice and helpful. "
